Most of city you can reach in 10-20 min by subway.

Any other Question you are welcome to ask me after your booking.

- Transportation: Subway 15-20 mins to Midtown Manhattan. Two minutes walk to the largest subway stop in Queens with five subway train lines (E, F, 7, M, R) and six bus lines (Q32, Q33, Q47, Q49 and Q53). As well as the Q66 on Northern Blvd., two blocks away. The Q33 & Q47 buses go to LaGuardia Airport. The Q53 bus goes to Rockaway Beach, Queens. The Q32 runs all the way from Jackson Heights to Midtown Manhattan, a nice option if you aren't in a rush and want to see NYC from the ground level (instead of the underground) and maybe hop off in the interesting neighborhoods along the way. The Long Island Rail Road Woodside station is nearby on 61st Street and Roosevelt Avenue, which is two stops on the #7 train. Incidentally, the 7 train is one of the few remaining elevated lines in NYC - you're sure to enjoy the birds eye view of the borough!

  • I was urgently looking for a place to stay for 14 days. Got this deal from Airbnb. The picture and price was promising. However the room has a window on wall (covered by some kind of net) and you can hear person breathing in other room. So if you are private person then this might not be a ideal place for you. However staying for a day might be OK.

  • I had a wonderful experience with Sharma. His place is really charming, the bathroom is ok and the location is great (only 1 block away from the Roosevelt Station Subway).
Sharma is a very great host and if your looking for a basic room for a GREAT PRICE... this is your best option. Thanks for all Sharma.

  • Decent place, very nice host, close to Manhattan (15 minutes by subway)

  • Sharma is a very kind host. The room is basic and for the most part clean. The bed is very firm. There are no windows. The dresser is a filing cabinet. I did not have to share the bathroom due to lack of occupancy, but I wouldn't imagine it being a problem. Overall, a very basic place to stay if you are trying to save money.

  • Sharmas place is good if you want to explore New York. It is very close to the Metro with good connections to Manhattan, Laguardia and JFK. Sharma is friendly and helpful. The appartment has three rooms used for air-bnb. They are tidy, but more like a one-bed-room hostel. The room where I stayed is placed between the other two, with an air opening to one of them and a not to soundproof locked door to the other. The layout is safe, but not good if you are very sensitive to sounds. You have access to a fridge but no kitchen.

  • I spent a problem-free week in this room. The room is clean, small and simple. I was just looking for a place to sleep at night and it was perfectly adequate for that purpose. The bathroom was clean and sharing it with the other guests was not a problem. The Jackson Heights location is great - very close to the Roosevelt Ave subway station, many restaurants, etc.

It was easy to communicate with Sharma via email and phone. He responded quickly and he was helpful and friendly.

All in all, this room is an excellent value.

  • I stayed at Sharma's place for 3 weeks, unfortunately it didn't start well for me because the house had two entrances with the same number, I didn't know Sharma wasn't actually living there during the week, he is only there on the weekend, so I knocked on the door in vain, an hour later someone turned up to let me in. Once in the place I realized that I had selected a room with a fan only and no window ,obviously paying a little more you get air con and a window.Room was very basic, a bed,an office steel cabinet (for stowing away clothing ?) and the fan that's it, for me it was ok because I only slept at the place, got back very late at night and left early.Sharing the bathroom was no problem, only a few times it was occupied, most of the time it was vacant when I needed it and it was very clean.I quite liked the area, very Indian, with lots of restaurants which unfortunately I had no time to try, the few I did offered reasonably priced dishes. Also worth mentioning is the closeness of LaGuardia airport, only $12 by taxi to the apt. and 5 minutes walk to the subway which takes 20 minutes to downtown Manhattan, and the place is very quiet.
