Modern cedar home in Dolphin Bay, Tutukaka with all the modern benefits including a separate self contained sleep out. Absolute water front with panoramic ocean views and access to the beach below for fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, exploring, or just sitting on the sand. Enjoy all day sun from the ocean facing decks and then retire to the courtyard in the evening for a BBQ while sitting in front of an open wood fire. Tutukaka's finest restaurants and bars only a 3 minute drive away
The space
Open plan dinning / living. Outdoor courtyard with outdoor wood fire. 4 bedrooms in the main house and separate self contained sleep out with 2 sets of double bunks.
Complementary toilet paper, salt, pepper, laundry/dish-washing powder, and firewood provided. We also provide pillows, duvets, linen, and towels. You would need to bring your toiletries.
Perfect for small corporate getaways and meetings with a fast Internet connection and an HDMI input on the AV system for presentations.
No Parties
As per Airbnb rules the place is not to be used for parties. Entertaining with your fellow guests is encouraged, however we do not allow events such as parties with groups of people outside the ones who are staying. This is strictly enforced by the surrounding neighbors and may result in eviction.
Available for small weddings ceremonies (16 guests max) at no additional cost and a 3 night minimum stay. Please reach out if you want to discuss this further.

If you spend some time there its not hard to see why. If you're wanting to relax on a beach, surf, fish, dive, hike, or indeed chill out one of the seaside bar / restaurants. Tutukaka has it all and only minutes from Black Rock Holiday home.
The attractions are vast, but a few we highly recommend are;
The Poor Knight Islands - Word Class Diving - also home to the largest sea cave in the world. Tours can be booked via dive Tutukaka for both diving and sightseeing.
Matapuri Bay - An idyllic family beach - also home to mermaid rock pools.
Whale Bay - a picturesque cove.
Sandy Bay for all the surfers - Tutukaka surf experience offers surf lessons.
And if this isn't enough there's also sandy bay horse treks, Stand up paddle boarding and great casual dining in a number of sea side bars / restaurants.
