THIRD STORY SUITE - beautiful loft

Bed & Breakfast - Private room · Broadway, New York, NY 10003, United States

The Space

A lovely room with double bed, japanese screens, desk and tall closet in a large loft downtown Manhattan. There is a country eat in kitchen and shared bathroom. The loft is a quiet/ beautiful shared space near Greenwich Village and the Lower East Side on Union Square. All subways near. Great shopping and theaters. This is a classic New York loft (converted factory). The decorations are from treasures all over the world. This is a great space for someone seeking a refuge in Manhattan. Near subways, great restaurants, theaters, biggest second hand bookstore in Manhattan and over the top shopping!

this is the perfect place for a woman. The cats are friendly, but are not allowed into the room (except on invitation). What makes the space unique is that it is a very large spacious room. there are no direct windows to the outside, but a shoji screen lets in light and the air circulation is lovely. It is next to a very comfortable country eat in kitchen with a sitting nook with big big windows.

  • Just returned from a week at the home of Laura.
What I can say is that his apartment is in a great area, within walking distance of a large metro connection to Union Square.
Spacious, with a very comfortable room. A large kitchen with everything you need.
A nice bathroom with a bathtub.
Laura is a very sweet person, full of light and infectious smile. A person who just want to embrace her.
As a sister, a friend, a mom ... exudes the air of home
His hospitality is impeccable ... vote 10. :)
I'm just sorry I do not speak English very well, I could talk a lot more '.
I'm gearing up with a new language course.
Her two cats made me cuddles and kept her company throughout my stay.
I would have gladly put in a suitcase and sent home.
I hope to be back soon to visit her.
    THE HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL.

  • Laura is one of the most warm-hearted and interesting hosts I've ever met within my airbnb-experiences! I felt very comfortable at her place with the two lovely cats and would always come back if I'd stayed in New York. The location is of course excellent as well and perfect for a trip to Manhattan – no matter how long you are going to stay there. Thank you Laura for everything!

  • This was a stellar location, with easy access to subway lines, and practically within touching distance of the Strand bookstore.
The apartment was comfortable and secure, and beautifully decorated. Please respect the no visitor policy and enjoy her cats.
I felt lucky to stay there.

  • Laura is a kind hostess, who made me feel "at home" during my 9-nights-long stay. She was very friendly, but also enabled me to maintain my privacy. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and so were the bathroom and kitchen.
This is an excellent choice for visitors who want to "taste" life in the Village, or for those attending conferences in nearby institutes, such as NYU, Cardozo Law School, etc. It is very close to the big Union Square subway station (although personally I recommend exploring NYC by foot), and there are numerous and various stores in a short walking distance from the apartment.

  • Laura was very kind to us, and we were very thankful for her adapting to our crazy travel hours. She welcomed us very warmly with coffee and a great conversation. She also recommended a fantastic place for us to have brunch in the village, which felt like heaven after our tiring flight! Her loft is very authentic NY, I particularly liked the beautiful high ceilings, and it is situated in a terrific area to explore the city. It was very easy to share Laura's home, and her two cats are beautiful and very friendly. We look forward to hearing from her when she comes to Paris!

  • Hallo I had a very Badà experience with Laura, tentino a room Near Union square. First the room was not private as it said because had 3 walls and a curtain as the 4th wall. The host was not clear on how many people would have been in the house so I did not know any day with how many people I was supposed to Share the bathroom. The House was very dirty and there were cats coming into my room and going over all my stuff. Nobody told me anything about breakfast and I had to buy it by myself. Because of all this I left the house ahead of time and the host did not want to reimbourse me. I would never suggest that accomodation.

About
I am quiet, a writer, and love sharing my home. I keep out of the way of renters, hoping they will enjoy their time in New York and my home. But am always available for questions, help and conversations. I am an avid reader of novels, poetry and books on myth and spirituality. As a host I am friendly, helpful and not very present. I respect privacy, simplicity , beauty and taking good care of the room and house. The location of the room is fantastic for the city. There is always fresh coffee available and teas , filtered water, flowers and a spacious shared kitchn to hang out in.
