We had a lovely few days away in this beautiful house. Justina made us feel really welcome with a few lovely touches such as leaving a few essentials (bread, milk, eggs etc) and having bicycles available to use to explore the local area. The house was exactly as described with a really comfortable bed and lovely shower too. I would definitely recommend to friends!
Although Justina was not around for our 4-night stay, everything was ready on arrival and a kind neighbour made sure we had all we needed.
I find it very brave of Justina to open up her home to basically perfect strangers, but the plus side for the tenant is that just about everything you can imagine is there somewhere if you poke around a bit (slightly guilty feeling :). A home from home.
Really nice little place, just as described, with seperate bedrooms on mezzanine. Small walled garden great on sunny days (yes we were lucky).
In addition to the property, Justina was very quick to respond to queries and provided directions and info on local pubs, etc ...
Basically great stay - thanks!
Justina has taken very good care of us from the first moment we contacted her till we left after a fantastic stay. Very friendly, warm and welcoming person, well organized, quick response to emails. Well organized, you will find written descriptions about how everything in the house works, so you will easily feel at home. Beautiful interior, best beds ever. You can also sit outside. The place is very cosy. You may want to consider that the double bed-bedroom has no door.
Justina's old school house was everything we expected it to be. Though not very spacious, the house disposes of everything we needed and iT is really as cosy als iT can get. The neighbourhood is really calm, in an old village near some fields. Justina was not there herself, but she left some pretty neat instructions and tips which we used to the fullest. Justina was a bit worried due to the fact that we travelled with two small children, but nevertheless let us stay and showed us the way to the nearest playground and such.
A wonderful little house right in the heart of one of the most beautiful places on the planet. A lovely home, with all the necessities and the comfiest bed I've slept in in ages. The local bus runs like clockwork and there's a well stocked village store just a few minutes away. And again, all within walking reach of the Marlborough Downs.
As if all that weren't enough, Justina is the consummate host - accessible, friendly, and thoughful.
All told, very highly recommended.
The Old School House is really cosy and very comfortable, and in a quiet location. The bed was great, such a good night's sleep! It was fully stocked with everything we needed and Justina had also left us some breakfast things, which was a really lovely touch. It was also nicely decorated, and great books (lots of cook books!).
We would definitely recommend The Old School House to anyone looking to explore the area.
The house was exactly as the website described. The bed was super comfy and there was a cosy atmosphere.
Justine was extremely good at communicating and provided lots of information.
The neighbourhood was picturesque and it was a shame that we were not staying longer to enjoy a country walk. Thanks very much for a lovely service and gorgeous home!

5 things are can't live without would be:
My lovely partner
My friends who I can talk into the early hours with
Wine and chocolate
Some of my favourite places to travel are, any where on the Med (I feel robbed if I don't get to swim in the med each year) India, South America, America and more recently South East Asia.
I love to spend a weekend up in London visiting a gallery, the theatre and wonderful restaurants with friends.
When I travel I like to mix the type of places sometimes frugally sometimes a splash of luxury.
Most of the books you will find at my place will be on travel, cooking, some psychology ( I also practice as a Hypno-psychotherapist), art and some silly novels.
I love lots of different music and recently went to see Caro Emerald when she came to the UK.
