  • We loved staying in this apartment near the heart
Of rome. We could walk to everything but chose to bus to the termini area. The bed was comfortable and there was a fan for hot days. We cooked breakfast in the morning. Nice big fridge.
Recommend having a cell that works in italy to contact host. Grocery store two blocks away had most everything. Felt very safe in the apartment. Sufficiently locked with two doors. Did not meet Fabio. His son met us.

  • We arrived in Rome, not exactly sure as to how we would meet David, Fabio's son, because of problems with our cell phone. Luckily, he was there, waiting for us, although a drenching rain kept him inside the flat. He was terrific, telling us all we needed to know about the apartment and the area, while also showing me how to access WiFi on my android, and not laughing because I was so baffled.

  • The apartment is in a very convenient location and walking distance to everything. It could not get any better than this. Because it is close yo the market and you are living with the locals, expect some noise from the market and people walking down the steps to go to work in the morning. Otherwise, it is very quiet at night to have a peaceful sleep.

Fabio is very welcoming and took some time to describe his history of Campo and places treat and drink. He is very responsive and absolutely no issues with communicating with Fabio.

The are plenty of space for two people in apartment and provide you the basics, and you get what you see on the pix.

  • Fabio's son, David, met us at the apartment at our designated time and showed us around. He was very welcoming and gave us tips on where to eat, how to get around, and of course, where to get gelato. The apartment is exactly as it is shown in the pictures and ideally located just a few feet from Campo de Fiori. We chose this apartment because of its central location which meant that we could walk easily to both the Vatican and the Colosseum. I would absolutely stay here again the next time I am in Rome.

  • It is a really cozy flat with handy location in the heart of Rome near Campa de Fiori. I felt myself like real roman citizen when went out of the flat and back inside, opening or closing the huge door by the keys. To live beside the oldest market, ancient, eternal sights was very athrob. Special thanks to David Fabio's son, who helped and met us.

  • Fabio and his son offered us a great benvenuto in their apartment, downtown and closed to pantheon.
We really enjoyed our stay there, the place is clean and full equipped and close to a nice gelateria !
I would recommend it, no doubt !

  • We had a great stay at Fabio's apartment. It's great to be staying at such a lovely area and be able to walk everywhere. The supermarket nearby allowed us to get all our essentials and the market right downstairs offers fresh produce at reasonable prices.

  • The location of Fabio's flat in Rome couldn't have been better. It was central to everything we wanted to do. With Campo di Fiori about 50 yards from the building, it made for a great experience (because of the location of the flat in the building, we never heard any outside noise). There are numerous shops and restaurants within a five minute walk of the flat. And during the day (over the weekend), Campo di Fiori was a fun and lively market. Once we got to his flat, we never had to use transportation other than walking to get to any of the sites in Rome. Leaving the Colosseum, we did take a taxi to the Vatican just to save time.

When we got to the flat, we were disappointed that it had fewer rooms than was conveyed in the description. There is only one bedroom. There was a cot in the hall and a large chair (mattress) that folded out into a bed in the living area.

I thought we had been tricked. But upon expressing our concern to Fabio, he quickly responded and explained the mistake in the description. He was also extremely kind and willing to help us resolve the situation with a variety of options. We ended up staying there our 4 nights in Rome and had a great time.

My only advice is, when showering, rinse, turn off the water, lather up, then rinse off. Hot water was very limited for 3 people showering.

Otherwise, it was a great flat with central access to Rome, and Fabio was quick to respond. We had a wonderful time in Rome! Thanks Fabio!

  • Bottom line: Wonderful! We'd stay here again without hesitation!

The location of the apartment is just great! Fabio welcomed us with cookies, and showed us the apartment. He also gave us some tips on where to find a good resteaurant. The apartment is a bit dark but this didn't bother us at all. The kitchenette was perfect for preparing basic meals, while there's a lot of activity in the neighbourhood, when you come back to the apartment, it's very quiet and no problem sleeping.
