About this listing
Nice little open area housing located on the Plateau Mont-Royal, close to the Metro Laurier.
The apartment is between avenue Mont-Royal and avenue Laurier, where there are a multitude of cafes, restaurants, shops.
There is also a little balcony on the back of the kitchen.
Fascinating neighborhood in Montreal, with two adjacent parks (Laurier and La Fountain) wonderful on a sunny afternoon. Great cafes, food, and a nice vibe in the area.
There are two Bixi stations with a block of the apartment, and plenty of bike lanes for getting around. The metro is 10 minutes walk from the apartment.
Please be respectful and clean. There’s a neighbor downstair, and the floor is not sound proof, so please be considerate and avoid making too much loud sound, especially past 10 pm. This is a non-smoking residence.
This place was really nice. There is a lovely little terrace where we had breakfast in the morning. It's also located in a cozy neigbourhood with good acces to the metro. Jolin left some interesting tips for restaurants and musea. Though we didn't had the chance to meet jolin he was helpfull and easily to contact in case of questions.
This was the second time we stayed at Jolin's place. As it was the first time, the place was welcoming, clean, and quiet, but in a location that's easy to access the exciting things Montreal has to offer.
Jolin was easy to get in touch with if needed, and checking in and checking out was seamless.
I would definitely keep going back to Jolin's place.
We loved staying at Jolin's apartment. It's cozy, well decorated and located in a wonderful neighbourhood near by the metro. Check in and out is very easy. We would definitely come back.
A nice apartment. Clean, 10 mins walk from a metro, good places to eat nearby, a pleasant host. Recommended.
Jolin was an excellent host! He left us maps, guidebooks, and best of all, cards describing recommended museums, restaurants, and other things to go do in Montreal. The apartment was great and it was a nice place to come back to after a long day of seeing the city. The best part might have been sitting out on the back balcony having coffee in the morning sun. The neighborhood is lovely to walk through, and I loved how close we were to the metro. Using a lockbox for the key made checking in and out very easy. Definitely recommended.
Sadly, I didn't get to meet Jolin, but I think I would have found it fascinating given the experience of his apartment. His apartment is meticulously organized with a definite creative flair. He's even gone to the trouble to use interesting topography in his notes to guests...which by the way are amazing. He has a set of note cards recommending food, drinks, cafes, and other sights in the area.
The apartment itself is perfect for a couple...it's a cozy double bed, and the couch will only sleep a very short person, so make sure you arrive with someone you're willing to share a bed with. The rooms are well-decorated and pleasant. Lots of light and a great back deck. Very clean.
The location is perfect. I find the plateau to be a fascinating neighborhood in Montreal, and the adjacent parks to the north and south (Laurier and Parc al Fountain) are wonderful on a sunny afternoon. Great cafes, food, and a nice vibe in the area. And a definite plus, I suggest the Bixi bikes for getting around. There are two Bixi stations with a block of the apartment, and the bike lanes made us feel very safe for getting around. We didn't take transit or a taxi once.
Overall, a great experience.
Jolin was a friendly host - he provided us with maps and suggestion cards as well as offered coffee and bagels. The apartment is lovely, conveniently located and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
