We stayed our first night at Mary's B&B. She is a wonderful host. She was shopping when we arrived and her son (10 years old) got us checked in like a pro. We had a great stay, wonderful breakfast, and an amazing tour of the Cliffs of Moher.
The home is beautiful, clean and nicely located for the Cliffs of Moher, and Mary White was very friendly and helpful. We stayed for one night, and walked to the Cliffs of Moher in the morning. There are no restaurants or pubs within reasonable walking distance, so plan to drive if you will be going out on the town.
Mary's BnB was like something out of a dream. It was amazing. I was not disappointed at all, it looked even better than the pictures she provides on her website. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The views of the Atlantic Ocean and the quintessential Irish countryside were incredible and surround her house so that no mater where you are you get a great view. The cost of the room is practically a steal, when you think about the fact that she includes an incredible home cooked breakfast, with healthy options available even, and also that the Cliffs of Moher are a short walk away....yes I said a short walk away, that's amazing. Doolin is a 10 minute drive, the Burren is a 30 minute drive, maybe less, I may have been lost, and the villages surrounding Mary's house are all quaint and colorful. The location in itself would make this BnB perfect, but to top it off, Mary is a great host and the rooms are charming and relaxing. Mary is funny, nice, and helpful. I recommend this BnB and plan on on being back. Thank you, Mary!!!!!
Lovely and grand house. Very clean (seems almost newly renovated). Mary was very sweet and accommodating. We booked a day before as it was a last minute trip and she accepted us. We were the only guests due to the season. Mary recommended a great seafood place to eat nearby, where we had some scrumptious food, and cooked us a full irish breakfast the following morning.
We would definitely stay there again.
Clean and good location. Unfortunately we were rushed out by the host as we were checking out the next morning, even though we were her only guests (because she had an appointment). We were hoping to ask for help making a restaurant reservation for that evening since our phones don't work in Ireland and we were hoping to ask if we could wait out the rain in the living room for about an hour in order to take advantage of the location of the bnb and walk to the cliffs of moher. In the end we ended up having to pay for parking at the cliffs and we waited at a cafe in a nearby town.
Mary is a friendly host and makes the most perfectly scrambled eggs in the morning! The accommodations are clean and comfortable and her house is located very conveniently to the Cliffs of Moher.
Mary's BnB is comfortable and very clean! We enjoyed our stay there as we could easily walk to the Cliffs of Moher. You have to go up a rather narrow street for about 20 minutes but if you just walk to the Cliffs you don't have to pay for the car park there.
Moreover the breakfast was very good and you have a lovely view of the atlantic!
Great location with a close walk to the cliffs of moher. House was very clean and well kept. Mary is very nice and accommodating.
Mary was a delight to stay with. A true irish woman with a great family. It was nice to wake up looking at the atlantic sea and heading out to cliffs of moher. Great full irish breakfast and nice home feeling. Everything was super clean and well in order. Would stay again for sure!
