The Space

Retro Ranch is in a quiet area of the hip East side - close to great locally owned shops, restaurants & bars. I offer guests a curated map & guide to vintage, record shops, seasonal & vegan dining options, music, coffee, dives and hidden gems!

This spacious home in a quieter area of East Nashville, close to great local shopping, dining and bars in Riverside Village, Eastland Avenue, Five Points and convenient to downtown Nashville and the Opryland Convention Center.

An experienced host, I have been with Airbnb for 4 years and very fortunate to have met so many wonderful guests!

This 3-bedroom 1960s style ranch house is colorfully decorated with retro furnishings and decor and home to a professional photographer with 2 friendly little dogs, who would be happy to show you their tricks!

Originally from Chicago, I moved to Nashville 14 years ago and bought this home in 2005. I love the diverse music scene here in Nashville, the arts, food, vintage finds, and the beauty of Tennessee... hiking, rivers, waterfalls...

  • Thanks for a great stay Kristina. We loved cuddling your puppy dogs and having yummy healthy breakfasts. In retrospect I wish we'd had a car to be able to explore more of the local area - maybe next time!

  • I'd like to stay at Kristina's any time I'm in Nashville. She's a lovely host and very easy going. It was a real pleasure to be there and she was very patient when I flipped the alarm on my way out for an early morning run. I hope she'll let me come back!

  • We enjoyed staying at Kristina's place as she offers the perfect mix of hospitality and privacy. She also gave us a great list of her favourite spots in Nashville which were very helpful. He dogs are very sweet and funny and we would definitely recommend Kristina's accommodation.

About
An experienced host, I have been with Airbnb for 4 years, and I'm very fortunate to have met so many wonderful guests! I am a creative professional who loves photography, music, great food, the arts, architecture, swing dancing (lindy hop, shag, balboa), the outdoors (trails, rivers, lakes), and urban travel. I've been in Nashville since 2000, originally from Chicago. I bought my East Nashville home in 2005, and I love seeing our eclectic neighborhood evolve and thrive with locally-owned restaurants and new businesses. I've always enjoyed staying in B&Bs and places off the beaten path, when I travel. Airbnb has been a great way to meet interesting and like-minded travelers from all over the world! Thanks for stopping by, and I look forward to your visit! -Kristina, Dixie & Lily
