Kristina has a lovely house. I wish I could have stayed for longer. After a long drive it is the sanctum of tranquility that every traveler desires. Dogs are tiny and friendly. Beds comfortable. Wifi fast. Recommendations book full of gems. Host very relaxed and so easy to get on with.
I had a great experience staying with Kristina! Being a last minute trip to Nashville, I requested to book with her very late but she had quick correspondence. She was very accommodating and provided an extensive "to-do" list including local restaurants, clothing shops, running trails, transportation ideas, and neighborhood guides. Her house was clean, full of charm, everything and more was provided for me, with great parking availability.
Dixie and Lily were absolutely wonderful hosts! And their human, Kristina, was also really great. ;)
My room was nice and neat, as was the house.
She helped me find a place to get my hair done, and had a whole book filled with suggestions for exploring Nashville.
She also had really great coffee, which I needed.
I would definitely recommend her to other guests!
Kristina is a terrific host - she knows Music City inside out, especially the funkier aspects of it. Ask her advice on where to eat and what to see! I found her place to be delightfully funky, too -- it's a retrofitted ranch house painted in lovely colors, with a very modern kitchen. The house was spotless, the coffee was excellent, and the dogs were adorable (they didn't bark at all at night). Just know that there aren't any restaurants within walking distance. However, a beautiful park is just down the block, perfect for running or road biking.
What a great place to stay! Kristina was a cordial and welcoming host. She had no shortage of good recommendations for local food & drink, shopping, and fun places to run or ride a bike. She accommodated my odd hours with ease (result of a 7:00AM marathon start) and was intent on making my stay relaxing and fun.
Her house is in a very pleasant neighbourhood (close to trails!) and is comfortable, quiet, and thoughtfully decorated. I really enjoyed exploring east Nashville and looked forward to returning to the convenient home base that Kristina's home provided.
I would highly recommend staying with Kristina for a stress-free, comfortable, and engaging experience in east Nashville! Don't be surprised when both the super listing and the super host exceed your expectations.
Kristina was a wonderful host. Her home is a lovely place to call home while in Nashville. I was in town for a conference and on the go a lot. Kristina made it very easy to know the lay of the land and enjoy her wonderful city!! I hope to stay there again on my next trip to Nashville. Highly recommend if you are going to be anywhere near the Gaylord Opryland area.
We have just returned to the UK after a wonderful stay at Kristina's Retro Ranch in East Nashville.
Not only was the house itself lovely but the extensive list of things to do left by Kristina was spot on.
A lovely stay made even better by all the wonderful advise offered. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Nashville.

An experienced host, I have been with Airbnb for 4 years, and I'm very fortunate to have met so many wonderful guests!
I am a creative professional who loves photography, music, great food, the arts, architecture, swing dancing (lindy hop, shag, balboa), the outdoors (trails, rivers, lakes), and urban travel. I've been in Nashville since 2000, originally from Chicago. I bought my East Nashville home in 2005, and I love seeing our eclectic neighborhood evolve and thrive with locally-owned restaurants and new businesses.
I've always enjoyed staying in B&Bs and places off the beaten path, when I travel. Airbnb has been a great way to meet interesting and like-minded travelers from all over the world!
Thanks for stopping by, and I look forward to your visit!
