Southampton Beach House in Village

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Walnut St, Southampton, NY 11968, United States

The Space

Located in the charming Village of Southampton. The house is just 50 yards from Main Street so you can walk to everything. Grab your morning coffee at the famed Golden Pear, shop at one of the deluxe 50+ clothiers or 20+ shops for children, find hidden gems at the towns 8 antique shops, join the creative community in Agawam Park for concerts and art shows, "buy local" at the Sunday Farmer's Market, catch up on the latest (email hidden) Southampton Movie Theater, visit any of the 10 museums and galleries, pick up a book at the local library, satisfy your sweet tooth at one of five local bakeries, or dine indoor or outdoor at the many wonderful restaurants in Southampton. Bike or stroll to the world's most beautiful beaches. Walk to train or a short drive to the Hampton Jitney. An easy ride to the South Fork's 4 vineyards, golf courses and dozens of attractions in the other beautiful Hampton towns.

Our 125 year old house comes with character. This is not a quick, renovation-style designed for throngs of summer beach-goers. It's a home away from home we have been retreating to with friends for over a decade. Its a summer house in the purest sense of the word. The decor, we like to call "estate sale chic", is very comfortable and cozy. It's on a quiet tree-lined street with a beautiful straight shot bike ride to the beach in 5 minutes. We have a dozen bikes of all shapes and sizes to use, kayaks, hammocks, a grill and everything you need for summer relaxation.

  • This house is just beautiful, it was our best memory of New York for months, the decoration of the house is magical, a real decor of movie. We definitely want to return. great location, just behind Main Street and 10 minutes from the beach by bike. The place is very quiet, ideal for relaxing! Michael was not there but has answered all my questions by text, it was very convenient. Great host. I want to go back!

  • I really had a very nice stay at Michaels house. He was a very helpful host and has given me a lot of information before I arrived. He made me feel very welcome. I arrived by train, but it is only a 15 min walk to the house, which was not difficult to find. The ways to the beaches are a little longer and I would recommend a car or a bicycle to get there easier. Apart from that Southampton is a nice little village with little shops and restaurants around. I would surely go back there and can only recommend Michaels place for an easy and comfortable stay. The rooms in the house are very cosy, the bed nice to sleep in, the kitchen has all you need and also the bathroom is big and has a shower and a tube. All in all a nice place to have a vacation or just a couple of days!

  • This is a great value for a stay in the Hamptons. We just needed a clean place to call home for a few nights and this was perfect...

  • Everything was perfect in our little escape in the Hamptons. The place is gorgeous. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the sun or at night, the beds were cozy and the house was clean. Everything we needed was right there - wine glasses, towels, hair dryer - the Landers left nothing to be desired. We can't wait to be back.

  • We had a great stay in Michael's Beach House. It is within walking distance to the main street and beach. The bikes were fun to ride. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need and it is quiet and we always felt safe. It was just a little dusty (my friend has allergies) but clean and tidy. I would definately recommend staying in Michael's Beach House.

  • We have had a great time and wish we could be back soon out there. The house is so lovely. Great location in the city centre, you can walk to restaurants and cafes. What made it really convenient were the bikes you can take for a 10 mins ride to the beach so you don't have to bother with parking permits at the beach. We had the most relaxing days imaginable. Michael is a great host. We did not meet in person, just on the phone. Everything was well prepared and arranged for. We would definitely recommend to stay here.

  • oh I wish I could be there now! beautiful spot. 10 minute bike ride through the beautiful little roads to the beach. Super comfortable; this old beach house felt like my own parents beach house, like my own beach house. It is also right by the restaurants and cafes. I would definitely go back. Michael was very nice too. Thanks.
