About this listing
In a very spacious cool loft, you will have the access to a master suite, and a smaller bedroom with 2 newly renovated bathrooms. 30 minutes from Manhattan, South Park Slope is the place to be, with plenty of local activities.
The price listed is for a huge master suite with a very comfortable king size bed and a newly renovated private bathroom inside the room (updated photos coming soon). If you are traveling with your children, we will charge $30 additionally per person, up to two more people. They would have their own bedroom which can be seen as my other airbnb listing.
The apartment, just two flights of stairs up on the 3rd floor, has three bedrooms but your room and bathroom are on one side of the 200 foot long apartment which means you will have all the privacy you need.
You will have full access to a laundry room with a washer & dryer and drying rack as well as a big open kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances.
Interaction with Guests
We will be away while you're here, but will work with you to ensure you have the keys and any instructions/directions you may need. We also have many friends in the neighborhood who can be your point of contact were you to need anything.
The apartment is located in the fantastic neighborhood of South Park Slope. Across the street is the awesome arts collective, Madarts with a great community of artists working and living in the loft apartments above it, and historic Greenwood Cemetery is just a few blocks away (and a beautiful place in which to take a stroll).
Within two blocks are Freddy's and South (bars), Roots Cafe (coffee + food + live music), Lot 2 (local new American food), Toby's (pizza + beer + homemade beef jerky!) See our Neighborhood Guide for more details.
We are a 15 minute walk from Prospect Park, where you can go for a stroll or a day of sledding in the winter; and a picnic, or a nap under the shade of a tree on warmer days.
We're a block and a half away from the R/M train at Prospect Ave, and three stops from Atlantic/Pacific where you can connect to most other subway lines (and express trains, one stop from Manhattan). You can also quickly walk to the F train (10 minutes away, at 4th & 9th).
The bike lane up 5th Ave. is just steps away as well as a bus that can take you to the busier part of Park Slope.
Welcome to our home. We hope you notice we have given it a lot of tender loving and care and we hope you will do the same. Here are some things to keep in mind:
1.Your bedroom is the master suite. Make a right as you enter, and walk through the kitchen into your suite. There you will find your bedroom and bathroom.
2.There is high-speed wireless internet throughout the apartment (strongest signal in the living room.)
3.Feel free to use any of our kitchen dishes, silverware, and glasses, and to store food in the refrigerator. All we ask is that if you dirty anything, please wash it and put it back or put in the dishwasher (except for our sharp knives and nice glasses which need to be handwashed.)
4.The laundry is the 2nd door to the right past the dining room. Feel free to use the washer and dryer as well as the drying rack. When your clothes are dry, please take them with you so others can use the space after you.
5.If you want to watch TV, please refer to the instructions behind the universal remote (it looks more complicated than it is!)
6.Please remember to keep the front door locked. It does not lock behind you, so you will need to lock the top lock when you enter and leave.
7.When you check out, please take the sheets off the bed and leave them in the white hamper in the laundry room. If your towels are dry, please do the same; if not, feel free to leave them in the bathroom. Leave the bedroom as you found it, and after you are checked out, turn in the keys. If all looks good, we will return your security deposit within a week of your checkout.
8.If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email us or speak with our housemates.
9.Refer to the neighborhood guide with our favorite places marked. If you discover any we should add for our next guest, please let us know!
Enjoy your stay!

When hosting, our master bedroom will be all yours! The apartment is very spacious and very clean - the perfect getaway.
When traveling, look for a clean and private room with access to a clean bathroom. Other than that, will spend most of my time outside visiting!
