The Space

6 bed dormitory with A/C, secured lockers and towels included. We also have free hi-speed wireless internet for your convenience. Our focus is on quality over quantity.

The first floor is the lounging area where you can enjoy relax, chat to people, and have a great time with us and the other guests. We have card-games nights (Poker, Uno, Monopoly cards), and movie nights weekly! We would like to make you feel comfortable while staying with us, just as you would be in your own home.

The guesthouse is located in central Bangkok. It's just a 5 minutes walk from the Airport Rail Link (SRT) and the BTS Sky Train. Easy access to Siam, MBK, Victory monument, pubs and restaurants. Since we are located in central Bangkok, exploring the city and it's numerous attractions is very convenient from our Siam Journey.

I am an experienced host who can provide advices and directions throughout your stay. My name is Mai, and my associate is Nathan. We can also provide you with various tour details should you choose to travel outside of Bangkok into other provinces.

  • I stay there for a few day and it was really friendly! The place is super clean and well organized. People are friendly and understanding. Good location and good indication on how to get there.

  • My two nights at Siam Journey were great! Everyone there were very welcoming and the lounge downstairs was a comfortable environment to hang out and relax with other travellers. One of our hosts even stayed in an extra 2 hours past when we said we'd show up just to let us in and show us our rooms. The rooms were nicely air conditioned and the rain shower head was definitely refreshing. The lockers were also helpful, though we could only fit two small bags in there, I felt quite comfortable leaving the rest outside. Shane even let me use the locker one extra day to store my stuff until my late night flight. By the way, Shane, the 59 bus did take me right to the airport, thanks!

Overall a great place to settle for a few nights and get a taste for the real Bangkok outside of the over-touristy areas and close to the sky train and canal boats.

    Thanks Siam Journey

  • It was a good place to stay overall. Helpful staffs and friendly people. It might be a little tricky to find so make sure where it is.

  • First, I will start with the communications prior to the arrival: Siam Journey hosts were very active in our email correspondence, from a few hours after my booking leading until the weeks just before the trip. Extra helpful: the directions they sent as to how to get there by rail from the airport.
I like the location as you feel "embedded" more in the city than to stay at a hotel. It is really easy to get to and from the airport from there. The other places in the city (like shopping or temples) can be reached easily by rail or taxi as well.
The accommodations were clean. When we were staying, the other guests were also very considerate (the main dorm is about 10-14 beds if I recall.) Therefore, when we needed to sleep we could.
Nathan and Henning were working both times I stayed. They were enthusiastic to help with our millions of questions, as well as to offer us outings for dinner and night life. They are fun to talk to and create a very calm feel to the place. Really great guys!
I would highly recommend this place!

  • Siam Journey was a great hostel. Clean, Affordable, Convenient and also Friendly. Even though I am a veteran of Bangkok, they introduced new things to do like a Sunday guest house gathering with homemade Thai food. The hosts were available not just to guide guests to sights, but also socialize and welcome us into their home. AWESOME!

  • This was a great guest house, with great host! I don't do well with long plane rides, and got sick my first day in Bangkok. Leo was so sweet, got me some medicine and electrolyte packets from the local pharmacy free of charge. Even moved me to a bottom bunk, so I could have easier access to the rest room. Overall, it was a great experience, with really chill and friendly people, and lots of little food and drink spots around! Would definitely stay here again! The only complain is that the guest house is a little difficult to find for the taxis, so make sure to have their phone number handy for directions.

  • As stated but I am not a hostel type person. Good wi-fi and good location. Leo very helpful. Just need a bed overnight to catch early flight.

  • nice, funny to be in a very local street, very sweet owner

but cold showers and a lot of noise and mosquitos, wich offcourse depends on the guests more then on the owner

but nice, he also took us out to go eat somewhere on the street a bit further!
