Our Villa history since the origin until nowdays...

I decided to leave in the Villa la Corniche in 1999 a place that I have inherited from my grandmother. The Villa "Corniche" was built in 1880 on a land that my grand grand father had acquired in 1880. At that time, the hill was virgin of all constructions and for the farmer who was Pierre Meiffret (my grand grand father) this place required a hard work to create the restanques where he could cultivate flowers and vegetables.

In 2000, when I became the owner of the places, I carry out a first section of work which enables me to put in conformity the house while preserving its authenticity.

In 2003 my wife and I continued renovation works by arranging the last level which became an office and a friend’s room. The back part of the house where we used to pack the flowers became the Eucalyptus studio.

In 2008, we continued to arrange the place by carrying out an extension to the existing terrace allowing to fully enjoy the life outside.

In 2010, we have finally the project to build a swimming pool; we arranged a Pool House in 2011 (which is becoming the Mimosas studio) and hope to concretize the construction project of the swimming pool into 2012/2013.

  • This flat is amazing! A spectacular view over the riviera and a great base to explore Antibes, Cannes, Nice & Monaco. My husband & I stayed here 3 nights & would love to return. The apartment is well equipped and spacious, and very organised. The sofa bed is ok but a real bed would be more comfortable. There is a covered private terrace outside the bedroom where we ate all our meals (inside option available too) plus another long terrace below ( your private use) with sun lounges, a shower, a wood fired oven, bar fridge & BBQ & outdoor setting. I had a massage on the terrace (Gregoire (website hidden) - he is also a PT) 70€ for over an hour. Pure bliss with that view...

Vincent & his family were away but we were greeted by Emilia, the Au Pair who showed us everything & we understood it all despite our limited French & her basic English. We did find the apartment difficult to find as there was no '755' on the road, just a gap driveway between numbers & then another few gates which had no numbers and were security for 3-5 houses. But we got there eventually.

Vincent returned as we were heading out & was very pleasant. His English is excellent & his family is lovely. He even gave us homemade Orange Wine made by his Gardner, Claude, as we left. What a great gesture. This has been our favourite apartment so far, but you do need a car to maximise the benefits!

A refaire!

  • We really enjoyed our holidays in this flat with an amazing and breathtaking view to Golfe Juan/ Cap d'Antibes! Especially in the evenings we loved to have our dinner on the terrasse even though there are many nice restaurants on the beach. The view was just the best from there!
Vincent is a great host! Thanks a lot, we would love to come back.

  • A truly wonderful place to stay, and that view Wow!! We only wish we could have stayed longer. Many thanks to Vincent and his wife for making it such a special couple of days - and of course not forgetting Vincent's mum who kindly directed us in when we got a bit lost and then showed us round the flat. Thank you all.

  • Vincent and his wife are very attentive hosts. Vincent's apartment is very cozy. There are everything we need in apartment. We felt there like in our home. But our house doesn't have any terrace and magnificient view on the seashore. There are no any restaurants near the apartment which have the same view. So we were prefer to have breakfast and dinner at home. It was very romantic and cheaper than restaurants.
We had a car but we didn't use it. Every day we walked to the sea shore by foot. It took us about 10-12 min and 15-20 min to came back. I recommend it to have good health.
It was easy to take a bus (1 euro per person and 5-7 min) to get Cannes or Antib than to take the car.
My wife and I are sorry about we spent so short time there. We want to come back. We recomend it to have romantic holidays.

About
Hello, my name is Vincent. I am 42 years old. My wife and I will welcome you in Villa la Corniche. We have two lovely appartments to propose. The view over the sea is marvellous. Come and see... Our Villa history since the origin until nowdays... I decided to leave in the Villa la Corniche in 1999 a place that I have inherited from my grandmother.
