Interaction with Guests

It's a few minutes from the canal, which is very pretty and nice to walk or run along. The lovely Williamson's Park, with the Ashton Memorial in it, is a short walk away. There are some great pubs within walking distance (eg. the Water Witch on the canal) and the best fish and chips in the world in Hodgson's on Prospect Street. The town centre is only ten minutes walk away so the house is close to the shops and Lancaster's tourist sites.
Lancaster railway station is fifteen minutes walk away and the nearest bus stop (near Park Hotel on the Bowerham Road) is ten minutes away. The bus ride to the university takes 15 minutes. There's on-street parking and road connections with Lancaster are good.

The house: Clean, cute and full equipped. Absolutely quiet and only a 6 min walk to the town centre. A very useful convenience shop is in the neighborhood.
The host: Friendly, hospitable and with a perfect communication.
Sharon was very helpful and prompt in her replies. The house and facilities are just what we needed; as described in the listing. The house is very convenient for the city centre and the area is amazingly quiet. We had peaceful slumbers in the cosy bed. I would definitely book again.
We stayed here for three weeks while visiting family over the Christmas New Year period. It was perfect for us. An easy walk in to town, short drive to family and great drives into the Lakes District. On street parking was great. We wanted for nothing. Thank you Sharon. Five stars from me - I can't make the stars work.
Our host ensured we had all we needed to make our stay comfortable. The description of the terrace is spot on and the neighbourhood is quiet. It was just perfect for us.
The house was perfect and just as described in spite of the fact we only approached Sharon on the day we were coming to Lancaster!
We have family in Lancaster and we'll certainly be looking to see if we can stay here next time we come.
The little house was perfect for us visiting our son who lives 5 minutes walk away. Small but perfectly formed with comfortable beds, cosy sitting room and well equipped kitchen. Sharon left us a very friendly note and we felt totally welcome and at home.
The listing was absolutely accurate. It was a cute terrace house close (5 min walk) to the town centre. There was a handy shop (even closer) for simple supplies. The house was clean and tidy, and the host left clear instructions for the amenities. The beds were very comfortable. We would certainly stay here again on a return visit.
I'm a Professor at Lancaster University. I love the outdoors, particularly walking, running and climbing mountains in the nearby Lake District. My work takes me away from home a fair bit and it would be nice to know that someone would be enjoying the house while I am away.
