  • Juan Carlos and his family are very kind and friendly hosts. They rent out a room with a small bathroom and a nice view on Parana River. You can use a kitchen and the nice garden. The room is close to the city (10 - 15 min. walk) and surrounded by restaurants and bars at the Costanera just around the corner. A supermarket is located 3 blocks away. Juan Carlos and his son picked us up at the bus station and they gave us a lift to the bus when we left. Juan Carlos is also a very good guide, he shows us the missions at Santa Anna and San Ignacio Mini. We loved the great hospitality of Juan Carlos and his family and our stay in this place.

    Recomendo demais!

  • What an awesome family! Juan Carlos and his family took me in as one of the family members! He picked me up from the bridge and also gave me a ride back to catch the international bus. Also, they invited me to eat dinner with them one of the nights. They were very sweet and the place is just beautiful and awesome. It is a very small bathroom so be prepared with a tiny shower. They didn't have the code for the wifi but after asking them, they made some phone calls and figured it out. Being short, it was hard to turn on the air conditioner so I would recommend a remote for that. Also I forgot to turn it off so they turned off all the power in my room while I was gone. That was fine as I should have remembered to turn it off. If that happens to you, the main control is on the wall right next to the front door of the house. They have a talking parrot and a sweet black lab. I used their bike to ride around the costenera but it was a bit wobbly. I made it back fine though :) I loved my stay here and would go back any time!!!

  • We call Juan Carlos and Norma our new friends and if Alicia (their daughter) comes to the US we hope she will visit. We are sailors who circumnavigated So. America and now have our boat is Piriapolis, Ur. We like to do inland travel to get to know the people and cultures of the countries we visit. We were blessed to find Juan and Norma's place. The pictures are true, the place is very tranquil, clean, and accesssible to the beach. Restaurants are within a block away. We took advantage of the bikes and rode along the costanera daily. The people here are wonderful and Posadas is a great beginning place to head to Iguazu Falls (which we did). Minimal English was spoken, which meant we were challenged, but learned a lot. We definitley recommend this place.

About
Saludos
