Sebastiens are great hosts. The room is very quiet and clean. Location is very close to the City Centre with a lot of attractions nearby. Definitely would recommend it to everyone!
Thanks so much Sebastien and Sebastien for helping to make my stay in Dublin so great! Super welcoming and helpful, even providing a free map. The house is in a great central location, an easy walk to most of Dublin's main sights, and in a safe neighbourhood. Thanks so much again, hopefully see you next time I'm in Dublin!
Excellent hosts. Nice place and very central. The room is small but comfortable.
Excellent hosts providing very helpful local info and recommendations. Standard basic room which was warm and comfortable. Thank you guys, I will return soon!
Regarding the room, it is perfect for one person on the go: small = warm, and for the size of the space storage is well set up and in abundance, and the bed is comfortable. The house is as well situated as promised, a few minutes’ walk from many shops, restaurants on nearby Camden street, and within a reasonable stroll of many popular tourist stops. There is a Tesco within 5 minutes’ walk – always good for patching any supplies if they were not in the suitcase.
An unintended feature of my visit to Dublin wound up being my amazing hosts; from previous reviews, I had some idea that Sebastien and Sebastien would be nice guys, professional and helpful about their hosting of an airbnb room, but I would not have thought to expect the extent to which they seemed happy to extend these efforts.
As mentioned before, the acceptance of my booking was immediately followed up by a well written explanation of how to get from the airport right to the front door of the house via public transit. In spite of a late-hour arrival, I was graciously welcomed, and immediately offered a cup of tea and several minutes’ sit down while Sebastien carefully talked me through a map of central Dublin; he clearly marked where the house was, and how to get back there, then took the time to point out several options around the area and to the edges of the map which might be of immediate interest for my lamentably short stay. In these two well-practiced and very naturally presented actions, any traveller’s anxiety which one is almost certain to experience in a new place (especially on a short trip when time to figure out how to get around is limited) evaporated.
This genuine interest in helping me to have the best stay possible continued with an invitation along with my two hosts and some of their friends to enjoy the St. Patrick’s day parade and a gem of a suggestion that I take in nearby, scenic Howth if the weather was good. Thank you, guys, so much for all your kindness and for ensuring I got the most out of my stay. :)
Very nice guys, great hospitality delivered! Amazing location, really close to the City Center, safe neighbrhood to walk around at day or night. Very warm and confortable room, good wifi :)
I may be going to Dublin more times, for work, and I sure intend to stay with Sebastien(s) again! Tks a million guys!
The location of the apartment was very central. Sebastien was very welcoming and accommodating to me when I needed to leave my bags at the house after checkout. He offered to show me the sights and had lots of information about the city.
I was a little surprised when I arrived because the outside of the building was different than the picture - it is actually across the street and a little shabbier than the brown brick houses in the photo.
