Peter and Lucy are very welcoming, we sensed a great vibe from the start. The house is beautifully decorated, the room is clean and tidy and has lots of little details such as welcoming cards, flowers, etc. Our hosts are very active, they both have a healthy lifestyles and even grow an organic garden in the backyard. It was very nice sharing stories and life experiences with them over a cup of coffee at our arrival. Lucy went the extra mile giving us some tips and helped planning our stay...we checked out her recommendations and was great! Privacy wasn't an issue because the house is huge, so we found our stay most enjoyable. Breakfast was also five star, with fresh fruits, muesli, toast and coffee. I would definitely stay there again!
What a lovely place to stay! Peter and Lucy were terrific fun hosts with a good sense of humour. House is warm and comfortable. Loved the healthy breakfast. I would stay again.
Peter and Lucy were really warm and welcoming. We met Peter upon arrival, while Lucy was out, and she waited up for us to come back from dinner to say hi. The ensuite room was very clean and private, and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed a healthy breakfast from organic fruits in their own garden. Pity it was only for a night, we would love to come back to visit again when we are next in Mornington. Great location, short drive to the town's main street and wharf. Highly recommended!
It is first time using Airbnb. Me and my girlfriend went to Mornington Peninsula for a one night trip for our 2 years anniversary. Weather wasn't ideal and our trip plan was very last minute. However, meeting Peter and Lucy as our hosts drove away all these issues and we soon realised we made a great choice. From the beginning until we left the peninsula, they were one of the most helpful, informative and kind hosts we ever met and it was a shame having to stay here only one night. They provided us with delicious breakfast, cosy room and little tour around their house filled with lovely organic farm and garden. We really enjoyed their company and sincerely hope to come back here someday! Thank you very much.

Peter and Lucy were totally wonderful hosts. The bedroom was beautifully presented, welcoming with an ensuite bathroom.
As promised, breakfast was included which included fresh fruit, muesli and delicious coffee made with a coffee machine (so we had a latte). I'm all about "real" coffee, so this was a treat rather than perculated coffee. They also had this amazing local sour dough bread which was delicious and so highly recommended that we went in ourselves and bought a loaf!
They provided great information on cafes, restaurants, things to do, wineries to visit, the best chocolate to buy in Flinders (which I forgot to do - doh!), and overall were warm, open and absolutely lovely.
Centrally located around that coastline, I highly recommend this lovely dwelling to stay.
We enjoyed the stay very much - the room was gorgeous, bed was comfortable which was perfect for us after a long drive. Lucy and Peter are such a lovely couple, we enjoyed their nice hospitality and good chats in the mornings. They also gave us heaps of good suggestions on food and daily travels. Their organic garden was very impressive.

About the Host, Peter And Lucy
My husband & I are passionate about traveling the globe via "roads less travelled" but in a safe and sensible manner. Because we live so far from everything (Australia) we usually holiday for 5-8 wks overseas. We have visited extensively, Morocco, Mexico, USA, Israel, France, Italy, Spain, Colombia, UK, Scotland, Panama, and Australia. Peter is native of Melbourne and I was born in Zihuatanejo, Mexico but educated in USA. I migrated to Australia in 1984. My number one goal is to make your visit to the Mornington Peninsula a happy one, providing you with a home away from home that is restful, genial, serene, and secure.
We'll be happy to answer all of your questions about vacationing here.
