It was an absolute pleasure to stay in this space. Jacqueline was extremely welcoming from the start - I had no way of contacting her when I arrived to Mexico City (to let her know that I would arrive later than expected because of the line for taxis at the airport). She, however, waited for me outside the apartment the entire time, which I really appreciated when I arrived. The space was very clean and cozy - exactly what you need after hours of traveling. The apartment is centrally located (less than 20 minutes from el Zócalo and el Bosque de Chapultepec by Metro on the 1 Line at Chapultepec) and is in a vibrant neighborhood. Colonia Roma is charming, bold, and alive. There is the right mix of the trendy and cutting edge culture and gastronomy that puts Mexico City at the forefront, while staying true to the present and likes of the locals. Needless to say, it's great for young people. If you stay here, go to the taco spot on the corner, Delirio on Álvaro Obregón and Monterrey, and Cafe Raiz de Maíz. Thank you Jackie for opening your doors to me! I recommend this property wholeheartedly!
Jacqueline is a warm and friendly host who lives on site and will help with anything you need. The room was bigger than I expected (though the bathroom is truly tiny) and was very clean and well-lit. I was there for two weeks and was very comfortable there. In an excellent location, one block from the metrobus and two blocks from the metro, and in walking distance of cafés, restaurants, stores in La Roma.
Jacqueline was a lovely host, even though I did not see her that much. "Chavela" was perfect for my needs. It was in a great neighborhood and close to public transportation. You are actually getting a private apartment as opposed to a private room. This would be a great alternative to staying at a hostel.
Jacqueline and her sister are very very nice. Helpful but also living my space. It was really good to share with them. The room is really nice, the location in the city too. Very central, very alive with a lot of good taqueria!!!
I clearly recommend this place, and I will go back for sure!
Jaqueline was a great hostess, and was available to help out whenever I need something. I didnt see her often at all, but she was there if I had questions, as was her partner and sister, which was great! The place is in a great location, super close to public transit and in a really lovely neighbourhood... and also private, as it is on the rooftop. The only thing is that I would make sure to bring a towel, and perhaps extra sheets if you are going to be staying a long time. I recommend staying with Jaqueline.
Had a wonderful stay! Didn't see Jackie and the rest of the family too often, but they were always available if I needed anything. Really great neighborhood and a lovely apartment. Highly recommended.

About the Host, Jacqueline
Me gusta leer, escuchar música.
