Unwind at this cozy cottage on a sheep farm just outside of Asheville, NC. This retro cabin has a bohemian feel, with comfort and relaxation in mind. Nestled in the heart of the farm's lush pastures, guests can explore the surrounding creeks and fishing pond. Swing in the hammock by day and star gaze by the fire pit at night. Ask your hosts about adding farm-to-table baked goods, meals and cooking classes to make your stay truly memorable.

The space
The Cottage has been outfitted and designed to meet all of your needs while you are vacationing in the mountains. Fully gutted and rebuilt in 2018, the house is lined inside and out with wood milled right here on the farm. Cozy and eclectic, it is a truly unique home! Enjoy the best of both worlds as you relax in the well appointed comfort of the house and then venture out on a walk about the farm filled with seasonal delights and crisp clean mountain air.

We were led to farming by a love of food. To us, the food we raise here on the land is meant for enjoying - agriculture and cooking are one and the same! We invite you to deepen your vacation stay by adding FRESH DELIVERED BAKED GOODS, HANDS ON COOKING CLASSES WITH THE SHEPHERDS AND CHEFS, and or a FULLY CATERED MEAL FROM OUR FARM HARVESTS. You will feel comfortable and integrated into our dynamic farm while you are staying with us. Observe our flock of green-fed meat and wool sheep as they eat their way across our 43 acres of mountain pastures and orchards. Explore the farm, play in the creeks and visit the pond (perfect for quiet relaxation or 'catch and release' fishing).

Guest access
The Cottage is a stand alone house located in the heart of the pastures of the farm so you will have total privacy during your stay. The house is a cozy one story and comfortably accommodates its guests any season of the year!

Other things to note
-The Cottage has fast, reliable fiber optic internet WIFI and it is suitable for all types of remote work. Although there is no cell coverage on the farm, by utilizing the 'WIFI calling' setting on your phone, you can use your devices as you normally would for calls and texts.
-A PACK and PLAY is available to our guests, just notify your hosts with your need.
-Because we are a working livestock farm, we ask that our guests refrain from bringing pets - thank you for understanding this unique consideration!
-The farm road is gravel and accessible year round. Our guests get around in an array of vehicles with ease.
