no smoking, be nice, enjoy yourselves!
I could not have been happier.
Place was clean, bed was big, people were friendly, and bathtub/shower and water pressure was great. It was also nice to have my own private bathroom. Plus, the hosts were extremely communicative prior to the whole visit – so it made it that much nicer.
Lara and Jon were very nice and really made you felt comfortable in their place- it wasn't the typical guest situation- bumping in each other every other minute, so that was nice. The building was gorgeous and historic. The bed was super high and comfortable!
Lara & Jon are very gracious and accommodating hosts. We enjoyed our stay in Louisville and our stay with them made our experience that much greater. They even left out coffee for us in the mornings and offered great recommendations for restaurants and points of interests. We would definitely consider another stay on our next trip to Louisville.
Best Airbnb experience I have had to date! Lara & Jon are awesome hosts -- communicative, welcoming, and genuinely interested in you having a pleasant stay in Louisville (which is really a cool town). They were generous with their time. And their coffee! And Lara shared some amazing fruit salad with me when I arrived hungry the first day.
The room is awesome! Tons of space, lovely wood floors, en suite bathroom, vanity with a mirror. And then use of the kitchen, family room, and dining room. Well worth the rent.
Very gracious hosts and a wonderful spot. I could explore the city or retreat in leisure. Perfectly pleasurable stay.
This was our first Airbnb experience, and we will definitely do it again! Lara was prompt and friendly with all of our communications, met us at the apartment, and was warm and welcoming while at the same time giving us plenty of privacy during our comfortable stay. The room was large, clean, and comfortable, the bathroom was tidy with loads of towels, and the coffee was ready for us to brew when we woke up in the morning. The apartment is close to the downtown area, and also close to Churchill Downs. There's a large library across the street, which would be a great resource during a long-term stay. The apartment is centrally located and easy to find, with plenty of available street parking on the weekend.
Jon stayed up late to greet us. The space is as great as it looks-- giant bedroom, nice private bathroom, beautiful common spaces. It's right in the middle of the city in a very walkable area. Highest recommendation!
