I am an avid traveler - I've been all over the world, and am always thinking about the next place I want to visit. I've lived in New York and Los Angeles, and even in the Caribbean, but moved to Phoenix to be near my family. I live in the heart of downtown Phoenix, and love introducing people to the urban delights of Phoenix (that even most Phoenicians do not know exist).
I began hosting travelers after having rewarding experiences with "home stays" abroad. I think it's a wonderful way to build community and to enhance the travel experience. For business travel, I think it's much more comfortable to be a guest in someone's home than a "customer" of a hotel.
I love to hike the local trails (Sept - May), and with some advance notice can schedule a desert or mountain hike with you while you are here. Please also let me know your special interests before you arrive so I can think up some good recommendations to enhance your stay.
