Large four bed house with garden, free on street parking, and great central location. There are 3 double rooms, one en-suite, and one single room. There is a large kitchen/living room, a sitting room, utility room and small downstairs loo.
This is our lovingly renovated 113 year old family home. It has been fully modernised, yet retains all of it's original charm and character. The house is bright and tastefully decorated throughout with lovely touches from our travels.
We would like to let the house while we are on holiday, so guests will have the entire house to themselves. We will however provide all information and support needed to guests while they are here.
Interaction with Guests
We will either meet guests ourselves or have a reliable friend meet and greet you with keys and to show you around the house.
This is a great area, right in the middle of all the major tourist attractions that Dublin has to offer. It is also close to cafe's, bars and restaurants.
There is a bus stop outside the house that goes to the city centre approximately every 20 minutes. Alternatively the Luas stop is a 10 minute walk, or you could walk to the centre of Dublin in 15/20 minutes.
This is a strictly no smoking and no pet house.
We would expect guests to treat the house with respect and look after it keeping it safe for our return:-)
Please do not bring additional guests into the house or sublet the house.
Definitely no parties.
My family and I stayed at Aoife's wonderful home for three nights just after New Year. We had all ages - from 78 to 2 - and everyone loved the home. It feels very warm and inviting and is very well-appointed. We really loved the open kitchen/dining room/living room. My only regret is not being able to use the gorgeous back yard (near-freezing temperatures and rain are to blame here).
Thanks for a lovely stay for our last few nights in Ireland.
We had a lovely 3 night stay at Aiofe's beautiful Edwardian Home. The place was tidy, very spacious and the pictures are a good representation of the flat in general.
Location wise it's close to town and also had local amenities such as a supermarket and transport links
We would definitely stay again there as well as recommend it to friends and family
We had a lovely time staying at Aoife's house in Dublin. We were two couples plus one so needed three bedrooms and a large living room area plus functional kitchen. The house suited us perfectly and we enjoyed the living areas and watching the hurling final on the TV ! Bedrooms were large and comfortable and the kitchen was excellent with lots of foods and condiments etc provided. We ate in a couple of nights and the kitchen was easy to use too. Location was a little out of the centre of town but very easy to get around and quiet. We also had a lovely dinner at Locks restaurant about 10 mins walk away.
One of the best places I've stayed in - heartily recommended
We had an absolutely amazing week in Aoife's lovely house. Although our ferry was cancelled and therefore we were about 12 hours late everything was fine. The week in Ireland was really great and we were quite impressed by the beautiful landscape. Thank you very much for sharing your home with us!
Our stay at the apartment was amazing. The place was clean, a great location (only a short walk to the city centre). Aoife also left us detailed binder about the place and the area. Overall, the place and the stay were great. Thanks!
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful home. The house is very well kept, very clean, comfortable and spacious. It is located in a very calm area, and is about 20 minutes walking distance from the center of Dublin, which allows you to walk around the brick houses of the Liberties area. Aoife and her husband are very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying there.
Our family of 7 had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Dolan home from 18-25 May and the experience could not have been any better. There was plenty of room and the location was great. The home was spotless and had that wonderful homey feel. Aoife had kindly made room in the kitchen for our supplies. She had put together a great information booklet with everything from info on the home to fast food delivery and even must see sights while visiting Dublin. PERFECT is not an exaggeration. Thank you Dolan Family for sharing your home.

I love to travel and often thought in the days of staying in youth hostels and cheap hotels, how much I'd love to offer accommodation to fellow travelers myself. And now I can!
Some of my favourite destinations were Turkey, Argentina and China. I love the way travel makes you re-think about the world and your place in it. I love the adventure, the assault on the senses, the break from real life.
When I'm not traveling, I love to spend time with family and friends, eat out, read watch films, and make random things.
