A private floor in our townhome near the Town Square. This room includes a comfy queen-size bed, a private bathroom, cable tv, a mini fridge, and a tea & coffee tray. We are located right at the base of Snow King - walking distance to Town Square.
We are located in East Jackson - right at the base of Snow King Mountain Ski Area. A 10 minute walk to the Town Square ("downtown" Jackson Hole). A 15 minute drive to the Jackson Hole Airport. A 25 minute drive to Grand Teton National Park & the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Ski Area. A two hour drive to Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park.
There is tremendous access to mountain bike trails, hiking trails, and bike paths right from our front door.
We are also very close to several bus stops that can get you around town or transport you out to Teton Village.
We have two cats, Max and Basil, who are both very cool and social...they will show off for you. You might hear them off in the corner discussing Kant and Kierkegaard or in the study working out complex mathematic problems.
Your bedroom - with a very comfortable queen-sized bed - is located in the lower level of the townhome, so you have privacy.
There is a large window in the room so it is as bright as you want it to be.
We provide an assortment of teas and coffee that you can make in your room. We do not provide a meal at breakfast.
You will have your own private room with your own private bathroom that has a tub and a shower. You also have cable TV in your room. There is plenty of closet and drawer space in your room as well. Wireless internet runs throughout the house. There is an assortment of teas and coffee and a hot water heater in your room. There is also a mini fridge located in your room to store any perishables during your stay. Breakfast is not provided, but you are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare any meals.
We can all share the main floor which has a dinning room table, a living room area with cable TV and couches, a nice kitchen with electric stove, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge. We have a coffee machine for those who enjoy the coffee. The main area also has access to a washer dryer as well as a guest bathroom. If you have larger items (bikes, etc.) that need to get stored we have a garage that provides shelter for these items.
Interaction with Guests
We are a young, professional couple who stay pretty busy at work and active after work, but are very social. We do live in the townhouse - above the main floor, but we are pretty quiet. We have been in the Valley about 13 years each and would love to hang out, give you tips on where to go or things to see. If the timing works out we'd be excited to share a dinner with you or go on a hike!
We love how close we are to the heart of downtown Jackson...if you wanted to get a beer at the brewpub, have sushi at King Sushi, loiter in the Town Square or visit the famous Cowboy Bar, it is all within walking distance from our place.
You can walk or bike to almost anywhere in Jackson. We have an outstanding transit system here as well (START). If you have a car, feel free to park it here and walk everywhere. If you are flying in there are numerous taxis that go to and from the airport.
We are a fun-loving couple, but in the same breath we are off to bed to get enough sleep for our jobs. We'd be looking for people who are respectful of that.
We also enjoy a clean house and would appreciate a guest who also enjoys a clean place. Shoes off in the house please.
We do not smoke and we would ask that you would not smoke in the house.
In regards to pets we would consider adult dogs, but not puppies. All dogs would have to be more than a year old. We would require an additional security deposit for a pet.
From the first mail on, we felt very welcome and the place was clean and cosy. For sure, a place to recommend!
Ideal. Perfect. Exceeded expectations. All words that describe our experience. The room is private, quiet and comfortable. Lots of little touches that make you feel at home, such as the fridge, coffee and teas. Even little things like packets of sunblock. Carl and Kelly genuinely appreciate their guests and as a guest, we truly appreciate them. Carl is also an outstanding communicator. Questions quickly answered. Location is great. Close enough to town to walk, far enough up hill to be away from the busiest parts. Great tips on where to visit and eat. Our stay could not have been better.
We were warmly greeted by Kelly. She showed us to our private room/bath. Very comfortable. We appreciated the snacks, coffee, tea that were provided. The information they provided on the area was so very helpful.
Resort B&B level quality. Completely private and lovely. Maps, guidebooks, clif bars, everything I forgot :)
Great hospitality and amenities. Walked to dinner and drinks right in town. Definitely AirBnB all-stars.
We had two nights staying at Carl and Kelly 's home and felt lucky that we had made such choices. The two rooms were all spacious and have everything we need. We did the laundry which was very helpful during the trip. We ate the fruits in the kitchen. My daughter had lots of fun with the cute cats. Carl and Kelly treated us just like friends(not only guests to supply us one bed) , which was very warm and comfortable! We had 15 hosts from airbnb during the 35-day' trip and this may rank No. 1 though the room may not the most special, but Carl and Kelly are the most friendly! Thank you so much and when we come back, your home will be our only choice!
Carl and Kelly were exceptional hosts! The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. It was a quick walk to town and was in a beautiful setting. They were very helpful with information about Jackson and the surrounding areas. I would highly recommend staying here! You will not be disappointed.

About the Host, Carl
Kelly and I both love skiing, biking, climbing, hiking and being outdoors! We also enjoy cooking (well to be honest, Kelly loves this) and reading and spending time with friends.
We enjoy traveling. The past few year's some of our excursions have found us in Turkey, Thailand, Greece, Africa, France, Spain, England, Ireland, Costa Rica, Fiji, Germany, Austria, Australia, Peru, Nepal, Italy and even Canada. We like meeting new people and learning more about different cultures. Kelly was an Anthropology major from William and Mary so we are certain to learn more about each and every culture that we visit. Since Anthropology didn't really pay the bills, Kelly has pursued nursing. She now works in the ICU department and we have discussed traveling abroad with different travel nursing opportunities. I studied Finance in my undergraduate days, but I quickly moved on to Parks and Recreation to pursue a masters degree from Clemson.
