There is tremendous access to mountain bike trails, hiking trails, and bike paths right from our front door.
We are also very close to several bus stops that can get you around town or transport you out to Teton Village.
We have two cats, Max and Basil, who are both very cool and social...they will show off for you. You might hear them off in the corner discussing Kant and Kierkegaard or in the study working out complex mathematic problems.
Your bedroom - with a very comfortable queen-sized bed - is located in the lower level of the townhome, so you have privacy.
There is a large window in the room so it is as bright as you want it to be.
We provide an assortment of teas and coffee that you can make in your room. We do not provide a meal at breakfast.

We can all share the main floor which has a dinning room table, a living room area with cable TV and couches, a nice kitchen with electric stove, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge. We have a coffee machine for those who enjoy the coffee. The main area also has access to a washer dryer as well as a guest bathroom. If you have larger items (bikes, skis, etc.) that need to get stored we have a garage that provides shelter for these items.
Interaction with Guests
We are a young, professional couple who stay pretty busy at work and active after work, but are very social. We do live in the townhouse - above the main floor, but we are pretty quiet. We have been in the Valley about 13 years each and would love to hang out, give you tips on where to go or things to see. If the timing works out we'd be excited to share a dinner with you or go on a hike!
We love how close we are to the heart of downtown Jackson...if you wanted to get a beer at the brewpub, have sushi at Nikai, loiter in the Town Square or visit the famous Cowboy Bar, it is all within walking distance from our place.
You can walk or bike to almost anywhere in Jackson. We have an outstanding transit system here as well (START). If you have a car, feel free to park it here and walk everywhere. If you are flying in, we could arrange to come pick you up, or there are numerous taxis that go to and from the airport.
We are a fun-loving couple, but in the same breath we are off to bed to get enough sleep for our jobs. We'd be looking for people who are respectful of that. We also enjoy a clean house and would appreciate a guest who also enjoys a clean place. We do not smoke and we would ask that you would not smoke in the house. In regards to pets we would consider adult dogs, but not puppies. All dogs would have to be more than a year old. We would require an additional security deposit for a pet.
If you are heading to Jackson Hole, Carl and Kelly's place is ideally located and very comfortable! As hosts they are great, fun people who go out of their way to make you comfortable and offer local guidance if you need it. Enjoyed hanging out with them and they respected our space when we just needed to crash after being on the slopes all day. We will be back! James and Jake.
Clean, attractive, comfortable, convenient, private. In addition, hosts were extremely welcoming, accommodating, & helpful with questions about the area. They've prepared a list of their favorite places to eat & things to do in the area that greets you upon your arrival in the room, and they were spot on! Free wi-fi also a great help. Thank you Carl & Kelly for being such fabulous hosts!
What an awesome spot in Jackson to stay. Carl invited me right in and had a beer waiting for me in the fridge. Very close to downtown but in quiet East Jackson. A separate bedroom in the basement with a bathroom was my own little spot. Really comfortable. I'm not much of a cat guy but they both were awesome.
Carl and Kelly were the best hosts I've had by far. They were super easy to communicate with, welcoming, extremely informative of the backcountry touring which I was coming to do, and the room was perfect. Honestly, I could go on but here's the deal: if you want a great place to stay in the best part of the town of Jackson with the most informative hosts, stay here. These two make the Airbnb experience excellent.
I stayed just one night, but Carl made me feel welcome and at home. I would stay here again without question. Max (the cat) was super friendly, too.
Carl and Kelly invited me into their home and I immediately felt comfortable. Offered tea and then fell into discussion of back country skiing. Carl has great tips on how to best take advantage of all that Jackson has to offer. The room is well equipped and quiet. Situated close to Jackson is so convenient for restaurants and shopping.

Kelly and I both love skiing, biking, climbing, hiking and being outdoors! We also enjoy cooking (well to be honest, Kelly loves this) and reading and spending time with friends.
We enjoy traveling. The past few year's some of our excursions have found us in Thailand, Greece, Africa, France, Spain, Fiji, Germany, Austria, Australia, Peru, Nepal, Italy and even Canada. We like meeting new people and learning more about different cultures. Kelly was an Anthropology major from William and Mary so we are certain to learn more about each and every culture that we visit. Since Anthropology didn't really pay the bills, Kelly has pursued nursing. She now works in the ICU department and we have discussed traveling abroad with different travel nursing opportunities. I studied Finance in my undergraduate days, but I quickly moved on to Parks and Recreation to pursue a masters degree from Clemson.
