Bright, cozy, quiet flat in the heart of London. Location is nothing short of spectacular, with views over the London Eye from the sitting room and the Strata building from the bedroom. Your perfect base to explore London, also on foot.
Standard accommodation is for one or two, in the double bedroom. One more guest may be accommodated in the sofa-bed in the living room. Please, note that the flat is on the third floor and there is no lift. Good for keeping your legs fit, but not appropriate for people with disabilities or families with babies and small children.
You will have full access to the entire property: kitchen, sitting room, bedroom with large wardrobe, bathroom and separate toilet. Kitchen utensils, towels and bed linen in cotton sateen are also provided.
Interaction with Guests
Unfortunately, if you are there, it means I am not, but I can still make sure everything runs smoothly before and during your stay.
Steps from the Old Vic and picturesque Lower Marsh, easy walk to London Eye; Big Ben and Houses of Parliament, South Bank, the Strand and Trafalgar Square (all 10 minutes), Covent Garden (20 min) and much more. Between Baylis Rd and Frazier St.
Super well connected: Waterloo and Lambeth North tube stations, plenty of buses all around, and Boris Bikes either side of the building, not to mention that you can walk to most tourist attractions and save £££.
Other Things to Note

Strictly no smoking, no animals and no parties. Please respect the neighbours and avoid excessive noise.
My experience in Claudia's flat was great. I stayed in her apartment with mu husband, baby girl (9 months) and my sister in law. We did not have the chance to meet Claudia in person, but she prepared all for our arrival and let me the keys with the cleaner. The location is excelent, just a few steps of Waterloo Station, London eye, Big Ben. You can take buses easily from every part of London and get to the apartment. The flat is big, clean and had everything we need to cook. Is a third floor without lift, but that wasn't a problem for us, even with the buggy. Absolutly recommended.
Claudia was very responsive and easy to work with. The flat was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is great and very accessible to transportation. Nights are quiet and the mornings are full of locals. I will surely be contacting Claudia next time I'm in London.
We were a party of three and a half that stayed in Claudia's apartment for three nights. We chose it because of its perfect location and the good reviews.
Claudia's place is exactly like it appears on pictures. It is a small one-bedroom apartment that can easily host four people (there is an IKEA couch in the sitting room). The kitchen is well-equipped (also for longer stays), so is the bathroom where Claudia leaves two baskets of toiletries (small Elmex toothpaste!!!) for their guests.
Claudia also prepared a handbook that makes your life really easy. In there you can find detailed instructions on how to get to the apartment, how to get in, where to put your garbage bags, and there are also some suggestions for restaurants and bars in the area!
I would definitely recommend Claudia's place to anyone looking for a nice and cosy place at a perfect location to explore London, be it on foot or with public transport.
This was my first time using Airbnb. I was very happy with the service and would recommend it. My communication with Claudia before my arrival left me feeling very confident and comfortable with my plans.
The flat is in a great location in the Southbank neighborhood of London; very close to Waterloo station. If you have plans to travel around the city you could not ask for a better arrangement. The flat was very clean with plenty of space. There is a nice view of the London Eye from the bedroom & the neighborhood is very quiet especially at night.
There is a market right downstairs if you want to grab anything and plenty of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood with a lots of options.
I would highly recommend staying at Claudia's flat.
thank you very much for your appreciation and feedback... and bourbon! I found it yesterday night when I got back, after a delayed flight which made me miss the last tube home. A sip of your bourbon was just what I needed!
Jokes apart, thank you for leaving the flat in excellent conditions, you're welcome to come back any time. I only regret not getting back in time to write a proper review for you, as a new Airbnb user. Next time ;-)
Claudia was very responsive and helpful in all our dealings. We arrived quite late at night and check-in went quickly and easily. Claudia had arranged everything for us so that there was no hassle and no problems. She contacted us after a day just to make sure everything was fine. We forgot something in the flat after we left and Claudia was very helpful in getting it back to us. The flat was bright, clean and included everything we needed. The listing is very accurate. The location was excellent. It was reasonably quiet for sleeping even considering its closeness to high traffic areas. The flat was easy to find, just steps from Waterloo station, and the neighborhood is wonderful. Great little pub on the corner, excellent Italian restaurant across the road. Lots of other places for eating within a block or two. Great access to all of the London's attractions, 15 min walk to Big Ben, about the same to the Strand. I would recommend staying here.
This was my first airbnb experience and my first stay in London, so I am pleased to say that both were terrific. Claudia was a great communicator, making the planning stress free. The flat is very convenient, and I appreciated being part of a residential community rather than in a hotel. It was clean, recently redecorated, and provided with lots of amenities from maps to kitchen utensils.
Dear Graham, thank you very much for your review. I am glad you enjoyed both London and the Flat. I totally agree the neighbours next door could take better care of the communal area in front of their flat, but some things are not always easy to tell, especially when you're not there all the time. I will definitely hint something when I have a chance to do so in person.
Claudia is a great host, very caring about her guests. She left a good description and tips for the local area as well as maps and attraction guides for us to use. And even an umbrella :) The location is superb - just steps from Waterloo station with convenient transport links - at the same time in a very quite place for central London. Would be happy to stay there again.
