Lovely place between Ubud's rice paddies. Absolutely enjoyed the greenery around the tree house living and the nature experience. Our 8 year old loved it too. Nice to be away from the busy streets that Ubud has meanwhile. Great place to relax and enjoy. The breakfast in the morning was very nice especially the french toast. Will definitely come back!
Everything was great and it was a pity that we could only stay one night! The treehouse is definitely worth its money, as well as the ecolodge (although a bit expensive for students with 80€ per night) - but staying in both is definetely an experience, as you're staying alone in the ricefields with many animals around, which you can hear at night :) Wayan was a very good host and fulfilled all our wishes, thanks for everything!!!
Magical indeed. A beautiful spot close to the heart of ubud but completely secluded and private. Wayan was a superb host and couldn't do enough for us. We would stay again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend this listing.
The tree house was stunning and comfortable, we wanted for nothing and the crepes for breakfast were a delightful end to our stay.
This is a great experience. The treehouse is beautiful and so relaxing as you are completely away from any hustle and bustle. It is really practical that they give you a local phone during your stay. Really enjoyed our time here but think the arrival system could be slightly improved.
The bamboo house in the paddy fields was a truly divine experience for us. We never met the host but had a very pleasant experience with the staff who was in touch with us throughout our stay. I summarize our experience and few tips below:
1. A very private space away from the town, bang in the middle of paddy fields. It was a truly wonderful experience to walk out of the house and amble into the green paddy fields surrounding the house
2. The people around the house working in the adjoining fields are very polite and respectful
3. Very ethnic, traditional, close to the nature experience
1. Carry your own toothbrush, paste and shower cap as these are not provided
2. Bathroom is not fully covered in one corner. If you are uncomfortable using an open bathroom, please request the staff for a way to cover the corner
(website hidden) carry mosquito repellants and bathroom sandals
4. Try to come by around 5:30 pm in the evening and leave not before 9 am in the morning to enjoy the best of the ambience.
5. The house could feel slightly isolated at night as the nearest next house is almost 5 minutes by walk. On the other hand, it's an ideal one for couples or group of friends.
