This place was so absolutely wonderful! The pictures do not do it justice! It is nestled amidst the rice paddies, a little but of a walk, but so worth it! Quiet and the best views of the rice paddies! Wayan & Ketut were so wonderful!! Helpful and so caring!! I cannot wait to come back!! Also, the breakfast every morning was so delicious!
Outdoors, extremely friendly kind and caring stuff who couldn't have been any nicer. Staff amazing amazin amazing. Sad that they had construction going on next door so their was dust everywhere and we didnt know this prior to our trip but they did offer us a free dinner and massage once we let them know, whic was super nice. Still would've been nice to relax a little more. Hard to find, not far at all from the main streets. A very open and outdoors adventure. Shower and outdoor bathroom could have lifted but not sure if that was due to the construction going on a few meters away. But a different kind of magical experience, food is delcious the chips are amazing I could go back just for those. If you are an outdoors kind of person I highly recommend this place, you'll have amazing staff and beautiful host that cares so much which is wonderful.
Absolutely loved the tree house!
I decided to give it a shot since it was my girlfriends birthday and I hoped a stay in a secluded, beautiful tree house in midd of Ubuds rice fields would be a romantic gift.
And it was definitely the right choice. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the place was as clean as a place in nature can get. It just looks like the pictures.
I can recommend it to anyone who wants to have a nice quiet stay in an unusual place with a Robinson Cruso feeling without really having to miss any real comfort. The view around is amazing and Ubud central is a 10min walk.
Expect to meet a lot of wildlife though since you are sleeping in nature.
We also had the Nasi Campur for dinner which was beautifully set and tasted amazing.
Thanks again for a lovely time
We really enjoyed our staff at the bamboo treehouse. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and helped to arrange activities. The treehouse is quite a ways off the main road, but it is not a bad walk into town. The treehouse is in the middle of rice fields and all open, so if you are not a fan of nature or bugs, this isn't for you. But if you are open to the idea and want a peaceful getaway in Ubud, you will definitely enjoy your stay.
Wayan and Ketut were the best hosts, took great care of me and worked out everything i needed, like car rental with driver, shuttle bus to the ferry etc... The made amazing breakfasts too!! :)
The treehouse is as lovely as expected, and the bathroom is part open-air and gorgeous. There is great care in details.
The location is a 5mn walk from central Ubud, and a 5mn walk through the rice fields. I loved how peaceful it was because Ubud is hectic! You wake up in the morning to the sound of trickling water and birds.
Again thanks to Wayan and Ketut for making this place so special :)
And they give you an indonesian cell phone which is priceless.
Tip: bring a flashlight. The path through the fields is not lit at night!
I stayed at both the magical modern bamboo treehouse and the Bamboo eco cottage on this lot and LOVED both! The pictures are incredibly accurate yet don't do this place justice. I would suggest that the owner Rainy put a little effort into sprucing up the treehouse a little bit - knock down some cobwebs, replace the slightly town mosquito net, etc just to refresh the place, but still overall I really loved staying here and didn't want to go! It's so peaceful and serene but still close to Ubud city center via walk or motobike. The staff Wayan and Ketut are INCREDIBLY wonderful, sweet and excellent at their customer service and meeting you to walk the dark path during the night with a flashlight. I will definitely be staying with them again when I return to Ubud! Make sure you're ok with your nature neighbors, i.e. ants and bugs! Not overwhelming but they are present!
The listing is exactly as you see it in the pictures, it is camouflaged beautifully in the middle of the rice fields and tropical surroundings. Everyone was very welcoming and helped to make our stay very enjoyable. Terima Kasih!
