A plushly decorated bamboo tree house suspended above the rice-fields just minutes from central ubud down a secluded foot path. A swiss family robinson childhood fantasy come to life with all the plush amenities.

The tree house is made almost entirely out of bamboo. It has two stories and includes a downstairs breakfast nook nestled in among the organic garden and an upstairs sleeping space with an open view of the rice fields fully furnished with an antique javanese queen day bed including canopy mosquito net. The roof is traditional thatch alang alang and this mini swiss family robinson style tree house features the adventure of sleeping in nature with all the amenities you need. Bathroom has a rain shower, unique hand blown glass sink and open garden so you can shower under the stars.

Guests can access freshly prepared meals from the garden and enjoy the many surrounding hiking trails. A candlelit dinner or massage can be arranged and the fireflies may even join you.

There is a full staff to cater to your every need. We will greet you with breakfast in the morning and guide you in activities such as arranging massages, adventure tours our helping you with transportation. We are happy to greet you with a flash light and escort you at night along the path. We provide you with your own local phone during your stay so you can call for service at anytime during your stay.

The tree house is in a completely private setting down a secluded (and adventurous) foot path overlooking a large organic garden a nearby goat who supplies milk, and is nice company. There are endless rice field views and potential for hiking and exploring in the rice fields. Despite this feeling of seclusion central Ubud the art and cultural center of Bali is just a short walk away.

Although most things are within walking distance we are happy organize a private driver or a motorbike rental for your stay.

This location is full service with all the amenities and all the adventure. We invite you to enjoy the unique experience of sleeping open in nature while you are here. This includes as some reviewers have noted hiking in on a traditional Balinese foot path in the rice fields. We provide flashlights to all our guests and always have someone to greet you at the road carry your luggage and escort you in regardless of when you arrive. Also, please be aware that allthough we provide all the amenities this is still a tree house and still you are in Bali. We are located in the rice-fields and because of this you should expect to see lizards and dragonflys and other such bits of nature. This is part of the experience of staying here and we hope you enjoy it. Because of the proximity to rice-fields we have a very important member of our staff that ensures the villa is mice free. She is a cat. She works for her food and does a fantastic job. You would not be happy with the critters that were there with out her great assistance. She is sweet and friendly and will say hi. This said if you don't like cats or are not ready for all that nature entails, this is probably not the place for you.

breakfast is included in your stay. it is Delicious vegetarian and different every day. If you are vegan or have other special dietary needs we are happy to accommodate your needs but as they are outside our daily routine we will ask that you pay an additional $3 per day for a custom meal.

A very interesting place to stay. There aren't any walls or doors but there are curtains for the bed area and bathroom. Beautiful rice patties nearby. A bit of a walk out but manageable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Overall an amazing experience and I would definitely come back.

I spent two days in the treehouse and found it to be a magical, wonderful and restful experience. I'm a city rat and was a little afraid of the no air-con situation, but they provided a really strong fan and there was a breeze at night (it's the end of the rainy season). The room is as presented, pretty basic, with a bed, two lounging "chairs" and a table, but that's pretty much all you need. There is an outdoor seating area downstairs, where the staff can bring you your meals. Breakfast is included and yummy although on the small side. The lobby has a huge lounge area where you can order beer, wine, mojitos and food (from pasta, mee goreng, to vegetarian nasi campur). I really liked the veggie nasi campur (which is ordered off site) or you can get food delivered to you. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Ketut booked us a white water rafting tour which was considerably cheaper than if we went direct. There is also a spa 100 m away that does massages overlooking the padi fields. Really blissful! Location wise, it is away from the bustle, which is what you're going for. We taxi'd or stayed in but other guests walked -- all the way to the Yoga Barn. About 30+ mins. If you want something walkable to lots of stuff, this is not the location for you. Make sure to either get them to pick you or let them know your arrival early on. Most drivers won't know where it is. You'll have to walk about 7mins to the location but they will send a porter to get your bags. My only complaint: the pool is on the small side. More like a pond. We didn't use it but other guests seemed to enjoy a quick dip!

Absolutely loved staying in the tree house. The environment is breathtaking. Staff sweet and helpful. Meeting other travelers staying in the other bamboo structures in the eco village fun and enlightening. I would recommend Wayan's place to anyone with an adventurous spirit. It is a good idea to be reasonably physically fit to trek the path and climb the stairway to the top of the tree house. I would return in a heartbeat.

Great place if you really want to stay with nature! The treehouse definitely does have a lot of bugs so be prepared with insect repellent and keep the living areas clean!! The staff there is extremely helpful and attentive. Remembers names and engages in conversations and is always just one call away. The absolute best thing about this place is the breakfast! Astounding that it's included. You can also order food from the common area and the food is really good too! Would definitely stay again, but will be better prepared for the mosquitos next time :)

The treehouse is absolutely spectacular set in the middle of the rice fields. It is completely open and makes for an amazing nature experience. The house is about 5 minutes walk through the rice fields to get to the road and about a 20min walk to ubud. Unfortunately the staff do not always answer the phone so sometimes I had difficulty telling the taxi drivers where to go as it is not easy to find on your own.

My parents stayed at the Bamboo Tree House and really liked it. Not only is it a very cosy and unique place to sleep and relax, but also the whole area of the location is very beautiful. Breakfast was brought to the private terrace of the Treehouse and swimming in the (cold) pool looking over the rice fields or sitting on the xxl swing were unforgettable moments. An absolute highlight is the separate hut with a stone bath tub surrounded by plants and warm light. It is available for all guests, big enough for two persons and offers a very romantic experience in the evening. The staff is very nice and friendly as well, so all in all it is highly recommended to stay there!

Had a wonderful stay it was great to feel so connected with nature and the local people working on the rice fields always smiling.. we loved having a simple breakfast every morning with a pot of coffee such a perfect way to start the day. Just a short enjoyable walk into town close to shops and restaurants.. we would love to stay again and for a longer period of time. The young vibrant staff so happy and helpful and eager to have a chat in the common room.. definitely recommend it to friends and family and to anyone wanting something different
