Spacious studio apartment in beautiful 1920's building on the North End of Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood, mere blocks from the city's best coffee shops, bars and cafes. Two blocks from 15th, a ten minute walk to the Pike/Pine corridor, and a ten minute walk from the beautiful Olmsted Volunteer Park.
This location could not be more convenient. Three grocery stores are each reachable within two blocks of the apartment, and a pharmacy is a ten minute walk or two minute drive away. Enjoy all that Capitol Hill has to offer, and return to a side street away from the hustle and bustle so that you can relax with peace and quiet.
Beautiful apartment with luxurious queen bed with feather pillows and duvet, hard wood floors, french doors, a spacious kitchen, and beautiful vintage furniture/decor. The apartment is full of art, and has a certain warmth that will make any Airbnb vacationer happy to have it as their little retreat. Treat yourself to a night in with my vast collection of VHS, from Some Like It Hot to Wayne's World. Bathroom has a full bath and shower, and apartment has radiator heat to keep you nice and warm during the fall and winter months (and alternately a window fan unit for the hotter summer months.) Wifi is included, as well as speakers that hook into any iPod or MP3 player. Full kitchen is well stocked with the tools to cook a delicious meal. Street parking is readily available within one or two blocks of the apartment, and a guest tag is available to validate free 48 hour parking.
This is the perfect place to spend a cozy weekend while in Seattle.
The apartment is easily reachable from Seatac airport, the Amtrak station, and I-5.
I live in the apartment with my kitten, who will not be there during your stay. However, if you are allergic to cats, her dander might bother you. The apartment is professionally cleaned before your trip, but please take this into account if you are especially sensitive to cats.

Virginia is a welcoming & generous host! I had a late arrival, and she was completely ready to accommodate. As for Virginia’s home, it is comfortable, serene, & beautiful. Her artist’s touch is everywhere, and at the same time, the apartment has all the practical items one needs. The neighborhood offers plenty to do & see—Virginia’s guidebook covers a wide range from the indulgent to the practical!—and yet Virginia was also always available with additional advice for navigating the city. And if you were ever to need little extras—from an umbrella to a reusable grocery bag—she would be at your service. I hope to be back soon!
Perfectly kept vintage building, charming interior, great location. A+ experience overall.
Are you looking for a quiet, spacious, beautiful, affordable efficiency to rent from a reliable, friendly, communicative person? If so, this is the place!
I was in Seattle for 10 days on a work trip and was able to sleep soundly in the quiet apartment, cook meals, work on my computer while sitting at the kitchen table, read on the couch and sleep well in the comfy bed. It's a very spacious apartment.
I was attending a training near Pioneer Square for a week and enjoyed the 45 min.-1 hour walk every morning.
The neighborhood is ideal - within a 5 minute walk of great restaurants, bars, cafes, bookstores, yoga studios, co-ops and Trader Joe's yet a super quiet area of the neighborhood.
Virginia was always reachable and very friendly and professional.
Great apartment, exactly as described. Victoria was a great host and very helpful with the recommendations.
Such a great little apartment in a really nice neighbourhood!
Easy to get around with supermarkets close by and close to the pine and pike area and the iconic markets. Virginia was a fabulous host and although we didn't get to meet she made sure we were comfortable and happy and always contactable. Definitely stay here!
My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at this studio. Virginia made us feel at home and kept in contact with us throughout our visit for any possible needs or questions. The neighbors were quiet and friendly and, most of all, the location was perfect for us This was definitely a "great first experience" for the both of us with airbnb and look forward to doing this again...
Virginia's place is charm to the max; the host, the same. We loved staying here because it was clean, bright, inviting, artistic, appointed. The neighborhood is a standout, too, and we walked nearly everywhere to world-class coffee and great stores. This is an Airbnb standout for all of Capitol Hill (unless you're bringing a large posse). Thanks, Virginia!
Just perfect for us. We recently stayed with our 8 month old and found Virginia just lovely to deal with. She was super helpful with suggestions when we met her and even hung around to answer our touristy questions. The apartment itself was clean, neat, quiet and had everything we needed for the stay. It is close to the bus and very close to a selection of great cafes. We rented a car and had not problems finding a park on the street. On Virginia's recommendation I did a class at the grinning yogi (amazing). We are big walkers and walking into the city a couple of times but for the trip home up hill I suggest the bus :)
Thanks v for a wonderful stay.
My girlfriend and I stayed at Virginia's for three nights and had a great time! Virginia was super nice and helpful. The apartment was beautiful, clean and quiet. The building is old, so the shower may not be state-of-the-art; this did not bother us, though, Because the apartment is Virginia's home, there was not much space to hang our clothes etc, but that didn't really bother us either. The apartment is located in a residential area, but there are plenty of great breakfast spots, restaurants and bars nearby, as well as bus stops to get downtown. We would definitely recommend the apartment for anyone staying in Seattle!
Virginia is a great host, and the apartment was great. it's well-situated where a car isn't needed if you're staying in the downtown Seattle area.
Walking and the local bus are sufficient. Virginia recommended a place called Joe Bar for their crepes and espresso - go there, you'll thank me later! The crepes were divine and they served the best latte I had all weekend (and I had ALOT of lattes....). The vintage charm of this place is wonderful.
