The room has a double bed with a memory foam matress.
The bathroom is shared
There is a small fridge for you to store whatever you want in. You may use the kitchen for light cooking.
There is a laundromat 4 minutes from the house.
I know Boston and it's surrounding areas very well and will be happy to help you move around or find fun things to see and do.
We have a cat that is friendly.
Common curtesy, no drugs, smoking on porch. Parking is with Permit you post on your dashboard and at your own risk. The instructions on where and how to park are clearly written on the pass itself. The only time anyone got a ticket was when they did not follow the rules which are easy to follow.
A wonderfully convenient and inexpensive location in the heart of Boston's Sommerville neighborhood, Soledad & Rodrigo's AirBnB was a delightful experience. This is what traveling should be - a welcoming, friendly host, quirky art filled environment, and a congregation of travelers from all walks of life sharing tea and talk. If you're a fussy traveler, stay at home. If you're open to what life has to offer, meeting people, shared experiences and adventure, then what are you waiting for. Even with 8 feet of snow on the ground, and Boston's worst winter to date, we found the accommodations cozy and convenient - a quick (and brisk) walk to Union Square, and close to all Cambridge and Boston attractions.
It was a perfect stay at their place and we couldn't have wished for better hosts!
Everything worked perfectly well and if we ever come back to Boston again, we def want to stay there again!
Thank you so much again
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Boston thanks to Sol's kindness and hospitality. Despite arriving much later than expected due to transport issues, we were welcomed in and not only shown around the apartment but also an in-depth discussion about everything there is to do in Boston. Sol also added in her local knowledge which aided us in effectively planning around the most appealing sites.
Our location of the apartment is great, 15 min walk to Sullivan Square where both buses and trains are available. By train it is only a couple stops and only takes around 10 minutes to enter downtown Boston.
Overall we had a great time in Boston thanks to Sol and her apartment and definitely would come and stay again!
Soledad was very welcoming and friendly, making me feel relaxed and at home right away. I was offered a cup of tea as soon as I arrived, and shown to a spotlessly clean and comfortable bedroom. The apartment is really well located, and my hosts gave me excellent advice on where to eat - there is a good selection of restaurants within a short walking distance. What a great find! I would love to come back on my next stay in the Boston area.
Soledad and Rodrigo's apartment was very beautifully decorated and neat. Soledad was very welcoming and helpful and recommended some great local restaurants to us. We just stayed for a night but we would love to stay again on our next visit. I highly recommend this place!
Sorry for the late review.
The room we stayed in was very lovely, it was very cozy and the bed was great. Soledad and Rodrigo were very nice and helpful during our stay. I would definitely recommend friends to stay here ! :)
PS. They also have a very cute cat!

I, Soledad am Chilean and Rodrigo is Colombian. We are social, lovers of all things art, music and travel.
My hispanic upbringing made me hospitable and domestically inclined. I love great food as a social ritual and cooking as an expression of love.
We are open hearted and abhor judgemental people. We love life and find joy in the tiniest of things.
We enjoy experiencing places by meeting "normal" people doing everyday things.
