Interaction with Guests
I will usually be at the office from 10am-6pm during the week, but occasionally work from home. When I'm home, I'm down to hang out, recommend places to check out, etc.
This apartment is right on Bedford Ave in Williamsburg, quite arguably the hippest neighborhood in NYC right now. You'll be in short walking distance from some of the best bars, restaurants and events around, to name a few: Brooklyn Brewery, Smorgasburg, Brooklyn Bowl and The Knitting Factory.
The apartment is also half a block from the Williamsburg bridge, which you can walk or ride a bike easily into Downtown Manhattan.
The Marcy JMZ and Bedford L train stops are both 1 stop away from Manhattan (~15 minutes). You can ask me for directions and travel recommendations.
From the apartment, by train:
Lower east side - 15mins
Chinatown - 15mins
Union Square - 20 mins
Times Square - 30 mins
Central Park - 40 mins
Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) - 40 mins
Metropolitan Museum of Art - 45 mins
Museum of Natural History - 45mins
Be considerate of the space, roommates, and neighbors. No smoking inside the apartment (feel free to use the balcony).
Jasmine is friendly, responsive, and welcoming. She is very accommodating and allowed us to drop off our bags and check-in early in the morning (we had a red eye flight). The place is clean and in a convenient location (just a few blocks away from subway stations).
Extraordinary value for this central, desirable neighborhood. As others have mentioned, the shower is great. Make sure to walk across the bridge into the city! Jasmine is super nice, a fine host patient and helpful.
Jasmine var meget venlig og hjælpsom.
Lejligheden ligger strategisk godt i Williamsburg, hvis man har nogle dage i NYC.
We had a really good time in Jasmine's appartment, especially because it was perfectly located in Williamsburg right at Bedford avenue. Two different underground stations are just around the corner and central Mahattan is just a few stops away. Also JFK-airport is quite easy to reach. We didn't really meet Jasmine since she was travelling herself at that time but she was always reachable via phone or mail/airbnb and she was always very friendly and helpful. Due to a delivery mistake there were no towls when we arrived but we called Jasmine and she solved the problem at once. The bathroom was nice and clean, our bedroom on the other hand was a bit small and we wished we would have had a few more possibilites to hang our stuff etc. The mattrass was great though. All in all a very good experience.
My friend and I had really a good time staying here. The house has everything you'll possibly need. The umbrella in the closet really saved us in the rainy days. The bed was bigger than I thought and very very comfy. The shower was also wonderful. The neighborhood was safe and it was close to many subway stations and you can get to Manhattan within 20min. Anyway it was really a wonderful experience.
The space was open and very airy. Everything was clean and orderly, it was a cheap cab ride from LaGuardia, and a 30 min. train ride to Time Square if that's your thing. There were also some great little local places for food and drink. Fine place for the price.
Great location, clean tidy and modern feel. Very nice bagel shop just around the corner for a perfect breakfast.

Hi! I'm a young, outgoing and down-to-earth technologist working at a food startup. I love art, beer and video games. I'm on here to make best use of when my roommate or I are out of town, but also to meet awesome people with equally cool spaces on my travels.
I've been living in Williamsburg for a year now and am happy to offer recommendations for the best place for food, drinks, music, and more. I'm also born and raised in NYC and can give you any subway or travel directions you need.
