Interaction with Guests
I will usually be at the office from 10am-6pm during the week, but occasionally work from home. When I'm home, I'm down to hang out, recommend places to check out, etc.
This apartment is right on Bedford Ave in Williamsburg, quite arguably the hippest neighborhood in NYC right now. You'll be in short walking distance from some of the best bars, restaurants and events around, to name a few: Brooklyn Brewery, Smorgasburg, Brooklyn Bowl and The Knitting Factory.
The apartment is also half a block from the Williamsburg bridge, which you can walk or ride a bike easily into Downtown Manhattan.
The Marcy JMZ and Bedford L train stops are both 1 stop away from Manhattan (~15 minutes). You can ask me for directions and travel recommendations.
From the apartment, by train:
Lower east side - 15mins
Chinatown - 15mins
Union Square - 20 mins
Times Square - 30 mins
Central Park - 40 mins
Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) - 40 mins
Metropolitan Museum of Art - 45 mins
Museum of Natural History - 45mins
Be considerate of the space, roommates, and neighbors. No smoking inside the apartment. Conserve energy! Please turn off all lights and air conditioners/heaters when not home. Leave all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and trash in the garbage shoot around the corner from the elevator.
From Oct 16 - 19, 2015 the minimum stay is 2 nights.
Jasmine was very helpful and provided restaurant/bar recommendations as well as travel tips. The neighborhood is pretty young, and there are tons of places to go within walking distance. Two subway stations are about a 10 minute walk to take you everywhere else. The apartment was tidy and the beer fridge was very much real.
As advertised. Relatively close to the L and the M. And Citibike racks just one block away! Nice area. Good food and coffee close by. We would stay again.
I stayed 3 nights at Jasmines place and it was lovely, it looks just like the pictures. The area is perfect if you're looking to explore Brooklyn rather than spend all of your time in Manhattan. There are some really great restaurants close by, also the bars are great. It's a hipsterish neighborhood so there are a lot of things and places to see.
I met Jasmine my first night and she was very helpful in recomending restaurants and bars to visit. I was with a friend so we didn't spend much time in the apartment, we were just there to sleep. But it was nice and quiet.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean room to stay in outside of the city.
This was my first experience with airbnb and I'm really pleased to say that it was awesome.
Jasmine is a great host. Very friendly and easy to communicate with. The apartment is clean and new. Great air conditioning in the bedroom, and bathroom has good amenities.
There are other guests who stay in the apartment. I saw 2 or 3 other guests while i was there. Everyone is friendly and keeps to themselves.
Really nice place! Super well located. Jasmine was a really good host. Always trying help you.
The room is bright & simple with a double bed & a dresser. The rainfall shower is superb. We have a good time there, especially it is perfectly located in Williamsburg right at Bedford avenue with lots of restaurants, cafes, shops around. Two different underground stations (L, M, Z) are within 10 mins walk and central Mahattan is just a few stops away. Thou we didn't really got to meet Jasmine most of the time but she was always reachable via airbnb and she was helpful. Only thing is you could hear the thunk thunk rhunk thunk day n night as it is near the train track, but not as deafening. Me n my son got no problem to sleep soundly at all .
The accomodation is good. We have been great time with the other guests. The apartment is well positioned near the undergound, clean and comfortable. Jasmine is really kind and always helpful.

About the Host, Jasmine
Hi! I'm a young, outgoing and down-to-earth technologist working at a food startup. I love art, beer and video games. I'm on here to make best use of when my roommate or I are out of town, but also to meet awesome people with equally cool spaces on my travels.
I've been living in Williamsburg for a year now and am happy to offer recommendations for the best place for food, drinks, music, and more. I'm also born and raised in NYC and can give you any subway or travel directions you need.
