Staying at Bethany's was such a treat. She met us as we arrived and was very welcoming. She even sent us a message after a couple days to make sure we had all we needed. The apartment fit our needs just right. Simple, clean and stylish, it was cozy, yet comfortable enough to accommodate our sloth-paced mornings. The neighborhood was also great. A bit off the beaten path, so fairly quiet, but within 5min walk to a vibrant and offbeat mix of bars, restaurants and clubs. Overall we loved Austin, and our time at Bethany's.
This was our first time using Airbnb, and we could not have been happier with our stay. Bethany was an amazing host and did everything to make us feel welcome. She really went above and beyond to accommodate us: A mini-fridge stocked with drinks, a binder full of menus from nearby restaurants, a drawer full of guides for things to see/do, etc. The apartment was clean and comfortable and exactly as described. The location was perfect too--easy to park and so close to everything Austin has to offer. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Austin!
Truly seamless. Everything was there and ready for me to just unpack and relax.
Bethany had a little "go to" guide with wifi passwords, etc. Extremely accommodating while still letting us have our privacy. Would stay again- especIally given how clean, comfortable and central this property is!
My husband and I were in Austin for a conference. We really enjoyed staying at Bethany's home. It was extremely close to downtown and the Convention Center. We walked back and forth from the conference each day and sampled each of the restaurants on the way. The room was spacious and quiet. We are looking forward to our next trip to Austin and we are hoping that Bethany's house is available for our next stay!
We had such a wonderful time at Bethany's apartment. The private space was very cute, clean and just as listed. Her house is gorgeous and in a very cool neighborhood. Although we didn't get to meet Bethany, she was very communicative and checked up on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. I will absolutely return to Bethany's space if I head back to Austin!
I can't say enough wonderful things about staying with Bethany!
After landing in Austin a few hours before the official 'check-in' time I e-mailed her asking if it would be okay if I came over a bit early. Bethany not only responded right away but cleaned and prepared the room ahead of schedule, going out of her way so I could come over straight from the airport.
Bethany herself is super sweet and very quick to make herself available. I only met her the first day, during which she gave me a bunch of tips about eating and touring around the city, but she made sure to e-mail me throughout the week to ensure everything was going well. I'm confident that if I had needed anything she would've been able to help me.
With regards to appearance and convenience, this location really can't be beat. The room and bathroom are not only extremely clean and well-furnished, but very private. Bethany provides a bunch of little amenities that really add up to making the entire experience that much more comfortable. To name a few, her room had a desk with writing supplies (which I ended up using a lot), a little fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. For me, having a fridge stocked with seltzer and bottles of water on 105 degree days ended up being a major lifesaver!
The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet, but walk 5 minutes and you'll stumble across some pretty awesome cafes. I was actually in Austin to attend a convention, so being a 10 minute walk away from the Convention Center was a major plus!
Perhaps the best thing about staying here is that it really ended up feeling like a second home to me while I was in Austin. If I ever end up visiting again, getting to stay in this place will be a top priority!!
This was the best airbnb experience I have had to date. The private room was amazing and had thoughtful touches throughout. The location was great as we could walk for coffee, food and drinks. Bethany was easy to work with and accommodating.
