Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Staying at the Wallingford Guest Suite was a delightful experience - the location was very convenient for us and we enjoyed walking in the neighborhood; it's an easy walk to Gasworks Park and Lake Union and the Burke Gilman Trail. There are certainly many amenities nearby -- we enjoyed restaurants in the Green Lake neighborhood. Nan Caruh provided many thoughtful things such as a basket of items - "if you forgot something" and dishwashing service (because there is no kitchen). This is a very cheerful suite, nicely decorated.

  • I stayed at Nan's guest suite for a week to visit my infant grandson. Her place is immaculate! She had thought of everything I could have needed; extra linens, towels (which smelled wonderful), and in the bathroom, she even had extra items in case I left something at home. I loved the place, its charm and quiet. She has a great system of leaving a small notepad for requests so that we could communicate daily if needed. Nan is a wonderful host! I would highly recommend this spot in Wallingford.

  • We enjoyed our stay very much. The unit was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Nan's attention to detail in design, furnishing and guest service was exemplary. I recommend the Wallingford Guest Suite and would return without hesitation.

  • Nan provided a wonderful place to stay at the Wallingford Guest Suite! She is a lovely host, and thinks of everything you may need ahead of time. The suite is clean and beautiful, as well as incredibly calm and soothing (the tabletop fountain was a huge plus!) - and the end is super comfy! The location can't be beat; Wallingford is my new favorite Seattle neighborhood! There was work being done on the street while I was there, but parking wasn't a problem because Nan let me use her driveway. All in all, a perfect first AirBNB experience for me! I will definitely be returning to the Wallingford Guest Suite the next time I'm visiting my son. Thanks Nan!

  • A wonderful space, well maintained, and thoughtfully laid out. Even though we were unable to meet Nan, she was a great host, explaining everything, and making sure we were never confused. We have lived in this area before and we just love this part of Seattle. Both Wallingford and Fremont are within easy walking distance.

  • Nan was a hospitable host and her guest suite is lovely. The space is well lit and cozy. The amenities provided are very thoughtful and made the stay very comfortable. Nan was also extremely accommodating in allowing an earlier than usual check in time. I would definitely recommend staying here as it is in a convenient location and Nan is an incredible host. Thank you!!

  • This was my first Airbnb experience and everything was as good as I could have hoped. I didn't meet Nan in person, but it's clear that she's organized and has been doing this a long time -- there was plenty of helpful information about the space, as well as city guides posted on the walls. The location was quite convenient too -- just a short walk to the main part of Fremont.

  • Our stay was outstanding. Nan is a great host. Our space was nicely appointed, quiet and clean. We will be back.

  • My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Nan's guest suite. The suite itself was just right: clean, charming, cozy, and appointed with everything we might need for our week-long stay (with directions on how to use them). Nan herself was very kind and communicative, and proactive about ensuring we were comfortable and happy. Thank you Nan, we will be back!

    December 2013
  • This place was very nice. Great location away from the hustle & bustle of Seattle traffic. Yet very close to Freemont & Wallingford. And it was very quiet at night. We look forward to staying here again.

I opened the Wallingford Guest suite in 2005. During that time, I have had the pleasure of having guests from all over the world. I love introducing visitors to our beautiful city. Since I live in a great residential neighborhood (Wallingford/Fremont) guests can easily explore some of our local favorites. I'm also a 4 minute drive to downtown, so all the "Must Sees" are nearby as well. (i.e. Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, the first Starbucks...) It is my goal to offer guests a comfy, private and quiet place to call home during their visit. I am always available if something is needed, but value guest's need for privacy.
