There’s so much to do within walking distance! Abbot Kinney shops/restaurants (some of the best in the city!), the beach, bike path, famous Venice Beach boardwalk and Venice Canals. Main Street Santa Monica shops, the Santa Monica Pier and 3rd Street Promenade are all close by.
Malibu, Westwood, Century City, Beverly Hills and Hollywood are just 20-35 minutes away. The studio is within a 15-20 minute drive from LAX and can also be reached by public transportation from the airport.
You can reach many local attractions by walking or on bike. If you wish to explore other parts of the city, I highly recommend the iPhone app Uber. It provides convenient transportation cheaper than a regular taxi.

John was very responsive and delivered all information to make sure we got in the studio. His place is clean and offers all necessities. Literally blocks away from Venice beach and Abbot and Kinney and Santa Monica.
Great little studio in superb location an easy walk to both the boardwalk/beach as well as Abbot Kinney - great for shops, restaurants and more. Studio was clean, well looked after and well equipped.
This was my first of many Air BnB and everything was so easy! The room was exactly as described, small but perfectly decorated and clean. Centrally located and parking wasn't hard to find. The weather was cool, but I didn't see any air conditioning, so that would have been good to know. John was easy to reach & the complimentary wine & coffee was a nice touch!! Beautiful little spot for what we needed. Thanks!!!
John was a most responsive and accommodating host, and the space was lovely - bright and charming, as pictured. We'd definitely stay here again. Thanks, John!
This place was absolutely adorable for my mom and I to stay for 1 night. It's really close to the beach so you just need to find parking and then you can walk two blocks or so over to Venice beach and the boardwalk.
We did not have wine when we got there which was a bit of a bummer (as the ad lists) and we did not end up using the bikes because they were a bit pricey to rent (15. each). So we walked around instead and bought our own drinks.
The bed and room was very nice, could have used an oven or some cooking supplies but nothing to really cook on.
Really nice bathroom and shower, with really delicious smelling body wash and shower dispenser. It smells like cucumber and mint.
There was a TV with basic cable channels and a coffee maker/microwave/fridge/sink.
There were also beach towels provided that were nice to have around when we went to the beach.
Overall a great stay, although we wished the bikes were included and that our wine was there but otherwise a really great place I would recommend again.

I'm extremely organized, dependable and detail-oriented so rest assured I'll make sure you stay goes well. I love managing my vacation rentals in Venice and love sharing the unique, beachy vibe I create in each place. I'll be easily reachable throughout your stay should something arise.
I love being active...yoga, pilates, or hiking daily is a must! I have traveled to over forty countries, and can't wait for my next adventure. My favorites are India, Syria and Thailand.
On a clear day, grab a drink on the rooftop and enjoy incredible coastline and city views. Amazing at sunset.
Just a couple blocks away, visit the famous boardwalk to see all the characters, ride your bike or enjoy the beach.
One of the most popular bars (website hidden)eer and wine only.
The best coffee I've ever tasted. Cool vibe and a great place to work.
One of the hottest restaurants in LA. Reservations are a must for a table, but if you arrive early, you could get a spot at the communal table.
Just two blocks away, one of LA's trendiest streets with boutique shops and great restaurants.
Venice founder Abbot Kinney fashioned these canals to resemble Venice, Italy. Charming place to walk around.
It's vegan but delicious. All organic.
My personal favorite. Great vibe, friendly service, excellent Peruvian food, decent prices. Generally easy to get a table.
A local favorite. Small plates. Expensive but worth it.
Best grocery store around.
Long walk street with tons of stores. More commercialized and touristy than Venice, but great for shopping.
