Enjoyed the privacy of the room and the warm hospitality. Great location. Hope to stay here again. Thanks1
Christy is a great person and a very responsive host. I had changes to my schedule and she was great about accommodating it. The house is definitely large and situated in a quiet and nice neighborhood. Since most of my time was spent outside the house, I would say that having a chair would be nice in the room (I stayed in). It only had a bed, dresser, and wicker chest.
Quite location and great support from Bob and Christy. For me perfect as easy access to the canal so I could cycle to work! Spent an enjoyable month here and will be back soon.
Christy is an excellent host and provided a clean home and bedroom for me to enjoy. She is very friendly and if you have any questions about the area she will gladly help. I also have had no communication issues with Christy and she responds promptly to emails/texts. Also, before arriving I asked if it was ok if I bring my small dog to which she allowed. She even helped me with walking my dog when I was going to be away all day. Great overall experience.
Good location close to NIH, convenient to the #32 busline, which goes to the redline Bethesda station. It was nice to be able to share kitchen use instead of eating out every night. The shared television room is a nice amenity.

About the Host, Christy
I have hosted dozens of AMAZING domestic and international guests from Airbnb and enjoy making guests feel at home with complimentary fresh fruits, juices, bagels, cream cheese, croissants, coffee/tea, cereals, milk and snacks. I have been known to give rides to airports for guests and helping guests get around with car rides when I can. I really like hearing about what people do for a living and all their incredible travels. My home is in a very safe Bethesda neighborhood with plenty of parking and direct access bus transportation one block away to Metro Subway either the T-2 Bus or the Ride-On Bus to Downtown Bethesda (5 minutes away) or Walter Reed Naval Hospital and NIH. Some of my guests have cars already and love the abundant parking in front of the home, while other guests like to walk up one block to either catch the Ride-On bus that comes every 25 minutes to the Bethesda downtown, Metro and NIH/Walter Reed Naval hospital or catch the Metro T-2 which is two blocks walk - to Washington D.C. The White House is only 7 miles away and this is the perfect location for sightseeing in Washington D.C. as well. We are inside the Beltway - so LOW to NO traffic volume getting into D.C. during rush hours.
Please choose to stay here - if you want a friendly and fun home - that can also be very quiet and peaceful - if you like your quietude as well. Sometimes I and other guests are often away traveling for our work. Lock and keys available for your room - if you need security as well.
