  • We couldn't have dreamt of a better place to spend a long weekend away. Francesco's apartment is a perfect place to stay, just outside the picturesque centre of Polignano a Mare. We spent many sunny hours at the terrace and the apartment itself felt instantly like home. Francesco has been a great host, giving us tips for restaurants and guide us around the apartment.

  • We loved our stay at Francesco's "apartment with sea view terrace." The terrace was so beautiful, and the view of the sea was magical. The apartment is adorable, and was perfect for us 3 girls traveling around. The location was perfect, with parking available for our rented car...a few blocks from the historical center (and most amazing gilato)....a short walk to the rocky beach to lay by the pristine clear sea. Also was a great location to drive to nearby olive groves, and to drive to the Bari airport where we left from. Francesco was so wonderful! He was incredibly nice and helpful. He sat down with us on the terrace and let us ask about recommendations. We unfotunately only had 1 day and two nights (wish we could have stayed a lot longer) and he thankfully recommended we spend part of our day at the olive groves. Francesco called his friends at two olive groves so we could go visit and have a tour and a tasting! It was a highlight of our trip! He was very responsive to emails prior to arrival, and was simply a great host! Francesco, his apartment, the olive groves, and Pogliano made for the perfect end to our month long Europe trip. We strongly recommend visiting this town and staying at Francesco's, we will return for sure!

  • Host picked us up from the train station and was very friendly and helpful, giving us all sorts of tips and advice about what to do and especially what to eat! The flat is well equipped and absolutely lovely. It is around 2 minutes walking distance from the old town and 5 minutes from the main beach, which is gorgeous. The terrace is great and is a lovely place to sit in the sun. We would recommend this flat to anyone visiting Polignano.

  • Francesco's flat was very nice and nicely located. It truly felt like an authentic apulian house. It was a real pleasure to stay there and we enjoyed the rooftop terrace as an ideal place for drinking wine and have dinners. Francesco was kind to pick us up late from the station, really easy to deal with and indicated us the best bar for a cappuccino just 1min from the flat. Thanks for the homemade olive oil, we brought it with us as a souvenir :) Highly recommended.

  • What a fantastic experience staying at Francesco and Jacqueline's amazing home. First of all, the journey to Polignano was made much easier as Francesco was kind enough to pick us up in Bari, and we had a very good chat about different topics during the car ride. After we arrived to Polignano, we were stunned by the beauty of this little town and Francesco's house is so culturally unique and cozy. We were welcomed warmly by the neighbor next door (the lady who would always want to talk to you), and also Jacqueline. Jacqueline gave us very good information about the town and what to do and eat, etc.

The house is so cute, clean, and cozy. The kitchen is beautifully decorated and the rooftop terrace is the highlight so we stayed up there much of the time for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The bed is totally fine and the internet worked great. The location is also great, very close walking distance to center of the town and to the sea side. The town is absolutely amazing both in daytime and even more romantic at night time. We also jogged to the next town, San Vito, about 30min away where they have an ancient castle (only able to look at it from the outside though - no entry) and a nice sea view. People are super friendly, no tourist traps, and very safe to walk even at night.

Polignano is one of our favorite places we traveled in Italy and staying at Francesco's should definitely be in your 'to do list' if you want the full experience of the town.

  • Francesco's apartment was perfect for our stay. He was able to pick us up from Bari, making our trip into Polignano a lot smoother. The apartment itself is clean and beautiful, with a rooftop terrace that is truly relaxing. It's a great location to walk into the old city and steps away from some great restaurants.

  • The apartment was spacious and very functional with a great rooftop terrace and balcony overlooking the cobblestonned street that doubled as the community social area. Francesco, despite the arrival of his new baby, found time to pick us up from the ferry in Bari and another time drive down from Bari to let us in when we stupidly locked ourselves out. Polignano surprised us with it's medieval charm and fine food.

  • A wonderful appartment in a cozy little town. Often we sat on the very nice roof terrace. The location: You can go whereever you want by feet (beach, supermarket, nice little restaurants, trainstation). Owner: Francesco and his girlfriend welcomed us warmly and gave us a lot of helpful tips and informations. It was a little bit like "feeling home in a strange town". We liked it very much. Thanks a lot!
