This has been my home away from home (Eastern WA) for the past two years. Wonderfully cozy and comfortable, this Nest is truly special. I ALWAYS look forward to coming here. Thanks Karen!
Another lovely stay--consistently excellent in terms of comfort, coziness and price. Highly recommended; you will not be disappointed in any way. Karen and the Nest are rare gems.
Second time at the coocoo's nest and just as pleasurable as the first! In fact, this time I had more days to enjoy the cozy space while busy with work and community visits. Already looking forward to staying here again. Thanks for being such a wonderful host, Karen.
My best AirBnB experience in Seattle. Karen has created a very warm, welcoming space that is a great to hangout in. Highly recommended!
We booked this very last minute, but got a reply from Karen within seconds (seriously). This place is easy to find and very close to the I5 (but still in a very quit neighborhood). Parking was very easy just right in front of the house.
Karen left us some fruit and very nice bread (carrot zucchini I believe, just hmmmm).
The place is nicely decorated and very efficiently furnished. The kitchen has everything you need and you'll get more towels than you can use.
This place is not downtown, but the bus stop is very close. We walked to the university village (about 45 minutes one way) which is nice to visit (lots of shops and restaurants).
Karen's coocoo's nest is very clean and you will definitely enjoy staying here!
My husband and I were on vacation from Alaska and stayed in three different Airbnb houses located in Seattle, Tacoma, and Portland and we loved this one the best. The room had lots of little notes around the place, it had little snacks, homemade goodies and was in a really nice little neighborhood in Seattle. We loved the cozy little place and the elevated bed. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Seattle. Thanks.
Karen was super accommodating and responded to a last minute request…the place is adorable and well stocked. Enjoy!
I had a great stay at Karen's cozy apartment, the Coocoo's Nest. It really is like a nest with a welcoming living room, cozy bed and great little kitchen. I used to live in Seattle and was up for a business meeting in Bellevue. I didn't want to stay in a corporate hotel. I wanted to stay in a house in one of my favorite neighborhoods. And Karen's place was perfect.
Before I arrived Karen gave me great information about her place. Once I got there she had written out lots of great suggestions about restaurants and stores in the area, how to gain access to WiFi, etc. Just what I needed.
We got a chance to chat for a just a bit and I really enjoyed hanging out. I'm sure I'll be back on future visits to my old city.
Lovely stay….AGAIN. Thanks Karen!
5 stars is not enough for Karen's generous and thoughtful hosting. The space puts the 'fun' back into functional. Altogether a delightful, comfortable and friendly place to stay.
