I had an amazing time at the Coocoo's nest! Nestled in a quiet, family neighborhood, there was plenty of street parking available, bus lines were very close by, and coffee shops were within walking distance. Karen was very hospitable and had anything we might have forgotten available at the Nest. Continental food was also available! Karen was very sweet and accommodating and even offered to take us kayaking! My trip to Seattle went swimmingly and I'll be booking the Coocoo's nest every time I visit from now on. Thanks Karen!
Such a lovely place to stay. I was only in the area one night, but it was exactaly what I needed. Karen left a key under the mat for us and it was very great experience.
A lovely place to stay. My favorite home away from home going on two years. Love absolutely everything about the Nest. Thanks Karen!
Ms. Karen was AWESOME and a sweetheart she accommodated us so well. She was there whenever we needed her but other than that she was a ghost as if she wasn't even around lol. The Nest feels like YOUR OWN PRIVATE getaway apartment. I enjoyed my stay at The Nest and will be revisiting very soon!
HIGHLY recommend - The Coocoo's NEST - It was a delightful place to stay in Seattle - great neighborhood, fun little apartment, and super comfy bed. Easy parking too. And Karen made the stay homey, comfy, and left delicious treats for us. Thanks again Karen for a lovely stay!
I can see why the CooCoo's calendar is full, and I was grateful to make a short notice (3 wks?) reservation. Parking is easy, and when I walked in the door, snacks! The apartment is ingeniously constructed in a former garage, and there are delightful touches to discover everywhere you look. And Karen's sticky notes here and there help a guest get oriented quickly. I spent one whole morning just relaxing with breakfast and Wi-Fi at the nest. Did I mention that Karen learned I eat eggs, not bread, and stocked the frig accordingly? Like having a personal shopper, too.
One block away are restaurants, Ace Hardware, but the neighborhood is quiet. It's a 10 minute drive from Two Dog Yoga, where I was taking a three day workshop. CooCoo's Nest is a wonderful place to stay, and Karen is a thoughtful host!
Great place. Quiet, well stocked with breakfast foods and fruit, full kitchen with cooking tools/spices/etc, small (email hidden)c. ... so many things above and beyond my other Airbnb experiences in Seattle. If you play guitar and did not bring your axe with you, there is something there to scratch that itch. Karen is a gracious host and considerate. I will go back.
Thank you, Karen!
The space was the perfect resting spot for my mom and I on our Seattle adventure. Thank you for taking care of all the details, and being so great to communicate with. I hope we'll have an opportunity to return in the future.
All the best!
Another wonderful stay at the Nest. My kids love peeking under the hen for a treat and I look forward to a fantastic night of sleep in that incredible bed. There's not a single detail overlooked and this wonderful little oasis. Thanks Karen!
Karen was so thoughtful! Her attention to detail truly made our stay feel like we were at home. The house has everything you need (from dvd's, stocked fridge, towels, etc.) We will DEFINITELY be staying at the Cuckoo's Nest again!
