The River Lodge sits on a peaceful 5 acres on the banks of the Mississippi River featuring three levels with 7 bedrooms plus additional sleeping areas in the loft and game room, making it possible to fit up to 22 guests. The great room provides a large gathering space, perfect for reunions and retreats. With 3 additional living rooms all with smart TVs, 5 bathrooms, a game room with ping pong, several outdoor sitting areas, a beautiful fire pit patio and lawn games to enjoy, there's fun for all!

LODGE RULES
-Swimming is NEVER recommended in the river. Our river bank is steep, so please take care. For boating, there is a boat launch just a couple miles down the road. There are several great lakes nearby with beaches as well. We would be happy to provide you with more details.
-PETS: Dogs allowed (up to 3) with pet fee - inquire for pet rules and fee questions

-Only guests who are part of the reservation may be on the property at any time

THE AREA
The towns of Aitkin and Crosby are just a 15 minute drive from the lodge. Both have a wonderful variety of cafes, restaurants, antique shops and events throughout the year. The famous Cuyuna mountain biking trails are also just a short drive away. Besides mountain and fat tire biking, you can also enjoy kayaking, trout fishing and scuba diving in Cuyuna’s aqua colored mine lakes! In the winter, cross country, snowshoe and snow-mobile trails are all nearby.
Guest access
Property is set up for self-check in. Please park on the gravel driveway, not on the grass or the street. The property is marked by fences or markers, so please respect our neighbors by staying within our property. The Mississippi River borders one side of our property, however the river bank is steep so take care when walking near there. Swimming is never recommended in the river. For boating, there is a boat launch just a couple miles down the road. We would be happy to provide you with more details.

House Rules:
- Absolutely NO smoking
- Only house-trained dogs allowed, non-refundable pet fee $100 for 1st pet, $50 per additional pet. Pets are NOT allowed on any beds. Must stay in a kennel if guests leave the property. Dog waste, fur, or accidents must be cleaned up.
- Small weddings allowed with additional fee, please inquire.
- No friends or family allowed who are not part of the reservation.
