Helpful hosts who know the area

The hosts are local and happy to share tips on trails, breweries, and wineries nearby
Welcome to your cozy loft retreat! This airy loft features queen and full beds, cozy bedding, and plenty of sunshine. This unique property was originally built in 1840, and comes with 10 acres of farmland to explore. Relax on the back deck, take in the dogwoods and beautiful flowers, and get away from it all! Located minutes from the Appalachian Trail, Devil's Backbone, and much more, we are ideally located to explore the trails, breweries, and wineries of scenic Nelson County.

The space
This cozy loft bedroom is full of character! Featuring two beds - a full and a queen, the loft also offers gorgeous views of our property and gets tons of natural light. The room has a ceiling fan and is heated/cooled with central air. The loft is directly above the kitchen- just wander downstairs and make yourself breakfast! Your bathroom is just down the stairs and is only shared by my husband and I (and we have our own bathroom anyway).

Guest access
You will have access to our kitchen, and can use the washer/dryer if you need to. Your shared bathroom, featuring a tub/shower and an oversized vanity, is just down the stairs. Feel free to roam our 10 acres or kick it on the back deck.

During your stay
We are a young couple who work full-time jobs in the DC area and try to come out here and enjoy the country life every weekend. If we are around we are happy to chat, show you the property, and provide tips on exploring the area. And we are always only a phone call/text/email away!

Other things to note
Please note that the farmhouse is still a work in progress, and that being an older property built in 1840, we do have the occasional bug friends. Also this is a very rural area- many cell providers do not have service at our house.
