Wow. What a lovely little home. Amy and Rob have built a wondrous little spot.Centrally located so it is five minutes to everything that matters in Santa Cruz. My kids loved the yard and the shed full-o-balls for them to play with. It really was a terrific time and we hope to come back again next summer.
We were left two glasses with a bottle of wine in the fridge and clean towels in the bedrooms. Although the street is busy it didn't seem overly loud or disruptive at all. Great location!
We had such a wonderful time staying here. The house was so comfortable it felt like we were at home! We would definitely stay here again.
We loved the craftsman in the Cruz!! It was very quaint and charming and the remodeled kitchen was fantastic. The location was great- we had friends staying at the boardwalk
Area and in Capitola and it was only a 10 minute drive to both locations.
Amy and Rob were great hosts and left great instructions and tips on the area that were really helpful. Thank you!!
Amy and Rob were great hosts, making sure we were comfortable in the home after check-in and encouraging us to contact them with any Q's. They left a bottle of wine and sparkling juices for us & our girls - very sweet! The house was just as described (LOVED our time in the kitchen and sleeping long hours in the comfy master bed!). The outdoor space was as enjoyable as the indoor space. Wifi and Apple tv worked great. And the neighborhood was a fun location; we walked downtown, to the beaches, to De Laveaga Park and - many times! - to The Buttery! Thank you so much!!!
Thank you Amy and Rob for sharing your awesome house with my family. We loved the house and it was in a perfect location close to UCSC for our daughter's graduation. It felt like we lived there and it even came with our own friendly cat (Chewy) for the weekend. You added a special touch with fresh flowers and champagne for our celebration. Thank you again. Vanessa, Guido, Allie, Claudia, Naoaki and the graduate Katarina.
Staying at Amy and Rob's home was a wonderfully comfortable experience. It really felt like a home away from home and allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay in Santa Cruz - like the comfort of staying at a friend's home. Picking oranges off the tree, cooking our own Sunday brunch, enjoying the sunshine, all we really wanted was a longer trip! It is within walking distance to grocery stores and cafes, and a long walking or short biking distance to explore all of downtown Santa Cruz and the beaches.
About the Host, Amy And Rob
We teach high school and seek decompression in many forms! We appreciate any chance to hit the road, camp or visit friends and family near and far. While at home, we enjoy hosting friends for brunch or just hanging out in the backyard. We walk down the street for some live music or ride bikes to some freshly- made beer, and do the same when on the road!
When you stay with us, we extend our cozy space for optimal decompression!
