This was a lovely experience. The apartment was exactly what we expected, and Sean was polite, helpful and very quick to respond to any questions. Perfect location to access both tourist-attractions and some great neighbourhood exploring.
The place on Green St. was perfect for me during my five day stay. The wireless was down briefly, but was fixed almost immediately after I called to let them know.
All in all it was a great home away from home for me while traveling to town for work.
I loved staying here!
The studio is in the perfect location and the neighborhood is delightful. I lived here for 7 years and it's a fantastic area. It's definitely a crash-pad and not a place you'll spend much time or sit to relax much as there isn't much space to live in other than the bed and the small dining table with 2 chairs. It's perfect for one person.
The space heater came in handy a couple of colder nights - that was great!
Everything in the studio was as-expected except that when I arrived, it smelled strongly of gas. I checked the stove but didn't realize that the pilot was blown out. I actually closed the door to the kitchen overnight and figured I was maybe crazy. The next day it was still strong so I contacted the management company. The representative arrived within probably 20 minutes of my call and took care of it quickly. It was great to have them available and the young man was very kind and courteous as well as apologetic for the trouble.
The wifi was spotty despite my resetting the wireless router several times. That was frustrating. I know, first world problems...
One note about the bed - I couldn't tell if it was queen or full, but after getting used to a king for myself and my fiancé, if I visit SF again with him I'm not sure we'd both fit in this bed - and we're not big people. If this studio had a king it would be perfect. Without a sofa large enough to really sit on, a larger bed would fit easily and make it a more workable place. The little couch was cute but I can't imagine wanting to sit on it.
I'd definitely recommend staying here - though I'd rather you not so I can book it again more easily in the future! ;)
I was able to get into the building with no issues. The apartment is even cuter in person than shown in the pictures. It was professionally cleaned and very comfortable. I used to live in SF and love this area. It's central to everything. Polk street is a stones throw away which hosts countless bars, restaurants, coffee shops, tea shops, juice stores, and boutiques. You can't go wrong staying in this location.
The tv did not work which was a pretty big bummer. I had been traveling all day and was looking forward to relaxing. I tried contacting but didn't hear back until morning after I had checked out. Also, there is no microwave. I tried to hear up my leftovers and wasn't able to.
We were very disappointed with our accommodation. The pictures posted were not at all accurate and gave the impression of a bigger place. The kitchen was "sub-standard" as was the bathroom. The closet was not tidy and had no light at first. Felt it could gave been cleaner too. Lighting in general was minimal in the studio.
The only positive: the location.
The studio was great and in a nice location with good restaurants. Would stay here again.
This is a cute neighborhood, arrived at night and got key from lockbox without a problem. There's no light in the hallway so i used my phone to find the unit. The door lock is minimal so make sure to use the chain lock. Apartment is well furnished and comfortable bed. There was an issue with the odor in the unit at the management company was responsive and provided a air freshener that worked. Make sure to use the space heater to keep warm. Great shops and easy access to all party of city with uber.
