Rent a superquiet bedroom with king size bed, closet, drawers, view on the park in my 150 sqm apartment. 2 bedrooms, 1 library, 1 art space, 1 large living room, 1 large kitchen, 1 bathroom with shower and bathtub, 2 balconies. This high end space is full of light, heated, nicely furnished by an achieved French artist. My name is Marcello Pisu, Italian cultural entrepreneur, marketing&events specialist. I'm renting one bedroom for short periods. The library is full of amazing art books and French literature texts. The sound system is designed to diffuse your music all around, or just in specific rooms. The bathroom has a dryer and washing machine. The kitchen fully provided with every tool you need for great dinners. The area (Suedstern, the largest catholic church in the city) is between the gentrified but still young Kreuzberg (Bergmann Strasse, Paul Lincke Ufer...) and the ethnic/rougher/emerging Neukoelln (Sonnenallee, Herrmannplatz...). Bars, pubs, clubs, supermarkets, bike stores, all around, and for every taste. Behind us there is one of the nicest parks in the city, Hasenheide, where Turkish and German moms with strollers, American joggers, young artists, students and potheads from all over the world get together in an incredible mix. 10 min walk and you're in Tempelhof, the most events-heavy location, where fashion shows, design fairs, festivals take place constantly. I'm a cultural curator and editor.

Great location in a wonderful part of town. Supermarket near by and some lovely cafes. U-Bahn is a few minutes walk away! I also stumbled upon a lovely market on Sunday morning just by the station.
...and what an amazing space...the flat is housed in a beautiful old building with high ceilings, wooden floors and all the old features (plus some new very modern additions!). It's definitely a very cool flat!! Marcelo is very open and friendly and his flatmate is also lovely. We didn't see them much during the stay but they were very easy to get on with when and had lots of interesting things to talk about.
I hate to leave negatives in reviews but sadly our stay was not very easy. There were no keys on the first day even though I travelled across Berlin to get them as arranged. Later Marcelo called to see if we could pick up his. In the end he dropped his set off to us which I'm grateful for, however I travelled with a friend who had different plans for the weekend and we only had one set between us for the stay.
This was a huge inconvenience with such a busy complicated schedule for the event we were attending.
Marcelo did say that the other sets were with someone else so this may not happen again for other people's stays.
The main bed was comfy and the room was lovely and spacious and bright. There were no curtains at the window. which didn't bother me at all, but may be difficult for some. There were no pillowcases.
Perhaps we caugh the host at a busy time, but we were a little diappointed having read previous reviews. We're very grateful for the stay but think future bookings would benefit from a bit more assistance (communication -via airbnb if poss so we're not charged for calls/texts- / having keys and bedding ready for arrival).
Thank you overall though for an opportunity to stay in your amazing flat!
First of all I usually rent the whole apartment, giving 2 sets of keys, one per bedroom. My room is usually for couples, and I leave one set of keys. For budget reasons Natasha asked EXCEPTIONALLY to rent the room and to put a couch in the studio next to the room, and I basically rented 2 rooms for the price of one. The first day Natasha told me she and her friend would have stayed together the whole time so they wouldn't have needed an extra pair of keys. Unfortunately the previous group of guests lost a pair of keys so I didn't have it ready because it's hard to get.
Pillowcases: what? I was washing them when you got here and you took them from the dryer (true, I'm very busy in these days) but you had pillowcases.
Curtains: the pictures are clear, no curtains. But I have them in a drawer and I can put them if somebody asks. It's all about speaking your mind at the moment, not after you leave and in a public area.
Next time I won't be accommodating anymore with low budget guests. And of course the key/bedding situation will be set as usual.
The apartment was awesome. It is in a lovely district of town.
The key exchange went great.
We really enjoy the time here in Berlin!
Thanks Ana and Marcello!!
This apartment is so amazingly big and beautiful. The neighborhood is great too, just a short walk to some really nice restaurants on Bergmannstrasse and just adjacent to a really beautiful park, Hasenheide. Marcello is a great host - gave us lots of space and made sure we were taken care of with towels, sheets, and even breakfast food.
Would stay here again without any second thoughts.
This is a typical young, fresh, artsy Berlin apartment. We especially enjoyed the big space and felt very at home here. Both Marcello and Ana are open, outgoing, and friendly people. We had a lovely stay, and we would not hesitate to recommend this place!!
it´s a perfect place for lovers of art/design and everything on between,
