Message from Point Reyes Vacation Rentals:

Cleaning: Your safety is our priority. We have always been obsessed with the cleanliness of our homes, and in light of the recent events, we have increased our already stringent cleaning procedures and policies. Our cleaning and maintenance staff have been, and will continue to be updated and trained to ensure that the homes we manage are as safe, if not safer than, anywhere one could hope to be. We don’t normally use harsh cleaning products, but we are adding bleach and other disinfecting products into the mix out of an abundance of caution. We use Alsco linen service, which already complies with stringent standards for hospitals, so you can rest assured that the linens are fresh and disinfected. We are budgeting additional hours of cleaning after each guest, at our expense, to ensure that the homes are thoroughly cleaned, and we are going overboard, I assure you - better safe than sorry!

We strongly urge guests to procure travel insurance which includes trip interruption coverage, such as through CBIZ.com.

We hope that you will feel safe and comfortable, and enjoy getting out here to nature and find a temporary respite from the world.

Grandma's Ranch House

Enjoy privacy and expansiveness, perched atop a hilltop overlooking a working dairy ranch.

The decor is classic, when things were built to last. The home is very large, in a horseshoe shape, with inner courtyard, large rear deck, patio, pool, and ample parking.

- Private and quiet, views for miles. No neighbors other than the cows.
- 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, game room, courtyard, deck, patio, pool, ample parking.
- Pool table, ping pong, kids games, toys, TV, dvd, even a VHS with VHS MOVIES!
- Excellent wifi and cell reception.
- Please Note: there are cattle grates preventing the cows from entering the area close to the home, but you may have to drive slowly if the herd is grazing along the entrance road, as there are no fences down there, and the cows tend to wander across the road right when you get close. Happy Cows...
- Fully gated pool - not heated, so it's fun in the Summer, but a picturesque cold plunge otherwise.
- Two Fireplaces, firelogs provided.
- New gas grill out on the back terrace - Bring your meat, this is BBQ'ers paradise.
- This is the ultimate family and group home.
- Guests receive special discounts at the nearby Nicasio Valley Cheese Company where they can enjoy cheese from the local ladies grazing in the fields around you.
- Open kitchen/dining/living room, opening out to the deck, so those in the kitchen can still be a part of the action.
- Old school decor - It's so retro and authentic, it's cool.
- Very large footprint - this is a very large, solid home, with most rooms having their own private en-suite full bathroom.
- Kids/singles room has four single beds.
- Professionally managed by a small, local, family run company. We are available 24/7/365. This is what we do.
- Our cleaning crew are paid a living wage of $25 per hour. What you pay for the cleaning fee is exactly what they take home. We use all "green" cleaning products, it's very important to us.
- We do have a video surveillance camera on the parking area (only), as well as family members who live at the main ranch house. So while your privacy and comfort is assured, we will not tolerate any abuse of our "NO PARTIES - NO ANIMALS" policy. Outside guests are limited to 2 without prior approval. So please don't try to throw your reception party or whatever here. If that's what you're looking for we have other homes which are more appropriate, simply ask. Thank you for being respectful of this unique property.
