The Space

. A beautiful double bedroom. Well equiped bathroom in my Victorian Cottage ,overlooking fields and sea. Light breakfast supplied..It is on the out skirts of Cowes, and a short distance from Newport, the Islands County Town. Plenty of parking available in quiet road, and near all main attractions the Island has to offer, no where is more than a half hour drive away. , but book early for 2014.. A Lovey local pub is just up the road, for evening and lunchtime meals. . You are very welcome to sit in the garden , and there is a table and chairs for your use. This is a good location for walker's, and any other Holiday requirements. We have a very quiet collie dog, and a few chickens, on the property. . There are some stunning walks directly from the property, Thorness Bay, and others, almost all through the countryside, with very little road walking.,it is also near the Cowes to Newport cycle route, and the National Trust conservation area at Newtown Creek, ideal for bird watching. Busses leave from the top of the road every 10 mins to Newport or Cowes, and day or weekly rover tickets can be bought when boarding the bus.
Note. Please take care when using the stairs, as they are quite steep.

The property is also only a short distance from the Cowes ferry terminal which will connect you to Southhampton in under an hour, wither you are traveling by foot or car. I may also be able to pick you up from the ferry terminal.

Please contact me if you have any questions and I will happily get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks.

  • Sarah's beautiful home is located in the perfect location just beside Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Sarah was so helpful when it came to advice about what to do on the island, her hospitality was amazing and we would definitely stay with her again when we visit the Isle of Wight. Thanks Sarah! :)

  • Sarah was very welcoming. She was even willing to pick us up from Cowes when we arrived!
The room is quite small. And it's not located in a separate cabin, but upstairs in the house.
Nevertheless we had a nice time at Sarah's. We were allowed to use her garden and enjoyed our breakfast there.
    Thank you Sarah!

  • Had a great time staying with Sarah. She is such a lovely relaxed fun person and made us feel very welcome. She even gave us a lift back to the ferry. Lovely cottage. We were visiting the Isle of Wight Festival and had late nights so were glad breakfast was available anytime.
We also like walking and Sarah was full of information about the local footpaths.
Ideal place to stay for exploring the Isle of Wight - 10 minute walk to the bus stop.
Chilli her sheepdog is a sweetie and very affectionate.
Wish we could have stayed longer.

  • A very comfortable room and a great hostess. We enjoyed chatting over a glass of wine and meeting the chicks and dog. When the sun shines, the garden (email hidden) to eat a takeaway meal. Or there is a pub just a few yards away that serves excellent food at a reasonable price. The house is 700 yards from the bus stop, so you have to be willing to walk a bit or bring a car. However, Sarah gave us a ride to the ferry when we left.

  • As we messed up our booking, we have not yet stayed with Sarah, but she has been very helpful in trying to sort us out. We look forward to staying here next month.

  • Great get away for us coming from London. The cabin is really well furnished, comfy and cosy. And the field view is awesome in the morning sun. Collie dog so cute and intelligent. Sarah was very welcoming and friendly. Appreciated the fresh hen's eggs for brekkie. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the island, great value for money. Nice pub up the road with friendly and interesting locals. Thanks Sarah!
