Dear Nicole I am very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay and that you experienced issues. However these issues were not raised on the AirBnB platform as per AirBnB policy when encountered hence there is no independent record for me to review. As an experienced AirBnB customer you would realise the importance of this, in particular when there is an issue.
On detailed review, your description of the issues in the resolution centre does not match your description on the private feedback on the review. For example on resolution centre you mentioned that both issues should have been resolved before you arrived however one of the issues (battery in the alarm) only started after 11:45pm on the second night. Hence there was not an issue before this so not possible to fix before this. Also in your detailed review you mentioned there was no information available on parking yet in the communications on the platform I can clearly see that Alex provided you with information on the closest parking which costs about 10 Euro for over night 7pm to 8am which is very different than your description of no information and a cost of 60 euro. Your feedback on check-in says no issues yet you provided a 1 star rating and raised the issue of no way to lock the facility when leaving despite that been agreed approach to leaving the keys behind.
Alex reported that the bathroom sink was blocked with hair. This was a newly renovated apartment including a new bathroom (tiles, sink, toilet, shower, etc.). You were the first and only guests to stay in the apartment. There is no way for this sink to be blocked other than by you.
In short based on the information I have concluded that requesting a 100% refund is completely unreasonable and the review of the details are such that your position of been significantly inconvenienced by Alex and his team’s performance or the condition of the apartment is not upheld. Given this and that you choose to remain in the apartment when you experienced what you claimed to be significant issues both nights, I will reject your request and not offer any compensation.
