Planning on visiting NYC or need a temporary place between moves? Come for a stay in our guest room!

Located in the historic Crown Heights neighborhood, our brownstone apartment is conveniently situated across Prospect Park from the Park Slope area and within walking distance of the Brooklyn Museum of Art, The Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, The Brooklyn Children's Museum and the newly restored Brooklyn Public Library(Main Branch).

The area has an eclectic taste which reflects the diversity of cultures inhabiting it. Crown Heights has some lovely architecture and a variety of peoples and shops, ranging from variously hatted and top-coated Orthodox Jewish residents to vegan Rastafarian Afro-Caribbean restaurants and college students.

The guest room is quite cozy and there is a very comfortable full size Murphy bed, a full-length mirror and a closet. The room has everything that you might need, including a travel adapter for your electronic devices and a hair dryer. You would be sharing the common space with creative, intelligent and friendly flat-mates. I live here alone, but there is a second guest room which may or may not be occupied during your visit.

So, why is this better than staying in a Hostel? We offer lot's of Free amenities: Secure Wireless internet, free laundry machines and a kitchen with great tools and culinary gadgets. For all you shoppers, the bathroom has a weight scale that you can use to weigh your luggage before heading off to the airport!

In the backyard there is a small garden with a beautiful row of Rose bushes and tomato plants. We also have bicycles(and helmets) that you can use to ride around the neighborhood. As an added bonus, we are half a block from the Subway! The 2,4 and 5 trains all run express into downtown Brooklyn and Manhattan. There are also several buses nearby that run towards Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Bushwick.

If you are driving, we even have a secure backyard (with a locking gate) for you to park in.

Discounted rates available for longer stays as well. Just ask :)

  • I stayed at Daniel's place for two nights when I was attending Wagner's admitted student weekend at NYU. Daniel is very friendly person and really makes you feel like home. He treated me like a roommate not a stranger whom he never met with before. I definitely would stay at his place if I ever need to go to NYC again. I highly recommend Daniel's place!!!

  • Our stay at Daniel's was excellent. He's a wonderful host and his place is very nice. He was very attentive and was always willing to help us get around. The bed was super comfortable and everything was nice and clean. The location is just a few steps away from the subway which is very convenient. This was our first time using airbnb and it was great! I highly recommend Daniel's place when you visit NYC. I myself will look forward to staying at his place in the future if available.

  • I had a great time staying at Daniel's appartment. The room was nice and clean and there was enough space to store close and other things. The metro connection is quite convenient, since there are two subway stops within walking distance to get to downtown.
Daniel himself is a really nice and friendly guy. The communication before arriving was great, since he answered within hours and gave some really helpful advice on how to get to his apartment from the airport (JFK). I also had some great conversations with him while staying and one night we even went out to have some drinks. If I ever come back to NY I will defiantly stay again at his place.

  • 10 days at Daniels place have been a wonderful time. The room is small, but there is absolutely enough space for all of your baggage. Even more important (for me): The whole appartement is clean and the bed is very comfortable. About Daniel: The communication with him was perfect. Before arriving he gave me a lot of helpful advices and answered every of my messages within hours. During my time in NY he was very friendly, calm and welcoming. We didn't see each other very often because I was all day out, but despite of that, I can tell you, that you can have really nice conversations with him. If I turn back to NY in the near future, Of course I would like to stay at Daniels home again!
