Planning a cabin trip for me and 9 other people was a headache. But after dealing with Jerry and Lu and seeing how amazing this cabin was, it was well worth it. Extremely clean, extremely comfortable, and lots of fun. Jerry and Lu were nothing but friendly and professional, and they were very accommodating to all of our needs. We had to leave a night early because of the snow/ice storm and we didn't want to get stuck. Everyone was so disappointed but even a short two nights was worth the trip.
We LOVED our time here. We used the cabin as a few day fall retreat for our company. We were able to lock ourselves away from the world into a beautiful forest scene. But was convenient that we were somehow close enough to civilisation for food and coffee runs! The cabin houses so many. We had 12. But it felt so cozy and intimidate. The view is gorgeous, along with the architecture! Plenty of parking and the mast beds were so comfortable! We will definitely be back next fall! THe hosts were very accommodating and really helped when the site has some errors in the process. Thanks so much!!
The house was amazing! We really enjoyed the home, and how spacious it was. Beautiful views. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had prior to, and during our visit. Highly recommend this home!
Jerry and Lu were great about responding to any questions I had! Everything was so great. Such a perfect space for the 10 adults and 5 kids for a long weekend. Plenty of room for the kids to play and plenty of room for everyone to sleep. Having 4 suite rooms was REALLY NICE! And having a half bath in the loft made was so convenient for those who sleep upstairs. Also, we had 5 families with 5 cars and there was still plenty of parking left. The ample parking bit on the listing is very accurate.
Our host made our stay feel like, staying with family. They were there for all our needs. The house was so beautiful and there are no words to describe our view of the mountains!
The cabin was great for an extended weekend in the Smoky Mountains. Well appointed and spacious. And best of all, gorgeous views of the valley and mountains from the deck. A great place to stay with friends or family.
4 households with 8 adults and 6 children in one amazing cabin! We all had a wonderful time. Jerry & Lu have thought of everything! Everyone had their own private sleeping space, and we took advantage of the multiple sitting/meeting/playing areas inside and out. The location is also perfect - close to the Pigeon Forge, but far enough away to sit on the balcony and not hear anything other than birds flying in the distance (and I forgot to mention the unbelievable view!). We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a perfect get away, and we hope to return again soon!!! Thanks, Jerry and Lu!
About the Host, Jerry And Lu
My father grew up in the Smoky Mountains and we still have plenty of relatives living up and down the mountain ranges. As a result, I grew up vacationing in and around the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge areas and so have loved this area for as long I can remember. My wife fell in love too on her first visit. It has been our dream to retire here and so we purchased a cabin that would eventually be our permanent home. We wanted a place with low crime rate where our grand kids can come and spend time with us and there would plenty for us to do with them. After more than a year of searching we finally found the place to call home.
