My home is located in Hyde Park near University of Chicago just a few blocks from Lake Michigan. The neighborhood has a vibrant International community and is full of museums, artist studios, and unique murals. Within walking distance of my home are great restaurants, grocery stores, coffee/tea shops, bars, and fashion boutiques. The Museum of Science and Industry and DuSable Museum are right in the neighborhood. Hyde Park is a pedestrian and bicycle friendly neighborhood. I find it to be very safe, but of course we are in a city and it is always good to be mindful of your surroundings when walking alone. I live just a few blocks from the President.

I have stay there for 6 weeks and Faye was a great host throughout my entire stay. The bed is very comfortable, and the neighborhood has many restaurants and shops. Thank you Faye.
I really enjoyed staying with Faye. The room was comfortable and quiet and she was and excellent host.
Really enjoyed my stay at Faye's. It was a beautiful house and there was a real peace about it. Very clean and spacious. And Faye is a wonderful host!
Faye’ s the perfect host -- she always looks after her guests very well. It’s in terrific shape in a great location. I would definitely recommend this house.
I only stayed at Faye's house for a short night, so I might not be as qualified to review it, but I definitely had a good experience. Faye was a warm host and the room and bed were comfortable. The house is in a nice neighborhood conveniently located near the University of Chicago campus.
Thanks for the hospitality, Faye. It was great to stay in such anice home - so close to everything. See you again.
I stayed with Faye this past weekend, when I was in Hyde Park for a professional development conference. Overall, I had a very positive experience. Faye was warm and welcoming, and at the same time very professional. That's a hard balance to strike, and she does it very well.
The small touches made a difference: she had a laminated cheat sheet with her home address, emergency contact information, and wifi access information. In the morning, breakfast laid out in a very easy, no fuss manner. Those details gave the impression that Faye took the time to anticipate the and accommodate the needs of her guests.
Her house was well kept, and the room I stayed in was clean and comfortable.
She does have a cat, and a strong willed one at that, so people with pet allergies are advised to medicate accordingly.
Faye's place was wonderful. Very convenient to public transportation and the U Chicago B-School campus. Nice, simple room, good internet access, very warm and welcoming. I only regret that the hours of my conference kept me from talking more with her. One tip: when reaching out to confirm, use the phone number rather than email.
Wonderful hospitality in gorgeous Hyde Park
Faye's house is located in a nice suburb, close to the University of Chicago. Nearby transport takes you everywhere in the city. The house is very clean and you get a large room and comfortable bed. For breakfast there is a choice of cereals and coffee or tee is also available. Faye is very charming and a good host. I would definitely recommend her place :-)
