Step back in time and slow down time, in our cozy and relaxing holiday house set in the picturesque village of Sat Bătrân or "the old village". Part of the Armenș comune, you will be staying at the foothills of the Tarcu Mountains in the community has welcomed a bison rewilding project. From Sat Bătrân you can organise wild bison tracking and other wilderness guided tours. We can also provide you with a real taste of the culture of the area, traditional food can be prepared upon request.

The space
The house is a well preserved traditional farmhouse built of stone walls and traditional materials. The kitchen has a cozy fireplace and each room a small fire-stove which can be used of you want to create that extra bit of cozy atmosphere. Outside the main house, in the barn you will discover a small village museum with hand picked objects that were a key part of day to day life of the Romanian peasant in this region of the Carpathians.
